great stitch and instruction. NOTE: the instructor is left handed but doesn't seem to make a difference!

Thank you! Yes I try to write my patterns for right-handers as they are the majority. We lefties tend to be able to adapt in this world! :)

What du do if u run out of tread? how du continue???

Hi Marisol, 1) Don't let your thread get too short before bringing in a new thread, as you will need to be able to weave it into the work for finishing off - but don't do that just yet - leave the old working thread where it is. The reason for leaving the thread where it is, is because if you weave it in and finish it off, it's incredibly hard to work out or see where your last stitch was and continue from there with a new thread. 2) Cut a new length and, following the helix thread path, weave in from a point a short distance away from where the old working thread is. 3) As you weave in, make 3 to 4 half hitch knots along the way. 4) Bring the needle to emerge exactly where the old working thread is. 5) Leaving the old thread behind, work some new Helix stitches with the new thread. 6) Get another needle and thread onto the old working thread. 8) Weave in the old thread following the thread pathways as before, making 3 to 4 half hitch knots along the way. 9) Cut the old thread. 10) Now carry on with your African Helix. I hope that helps. Best wishes Melanie
