Thanks Allie you are a great source of beading knowledge. Right angle weave makes more sense. I have had difficulties becoming proficient with this stitch.

RAW is the first stitch i taught myself before i entered even Peyote, or even the St. Petersburg stitch and the Nepal chain stitch.....and i made a pair of earrings with them and gifted to my cousin who is my nextdoor neighbour as well because i don't wear earrings since my earring holes are completely closed and were very tiny for any earring to go through.......and also i was forced to take my earrings off before my theater work and even though i told my teacher that if i took them off i wouldn't be able to put them back on but she didn't listen and so i took the of and when i tried to put them back on, i earring holes kept bleeding profusely and i couldn't put it on and even my group mates tried to put it back for me but the earrings just wouldn't go back in.......so after that, i just stopped wearing earrings.......

There is so much to be said about not being able to comprehend RAW, CRAW, PRAW, and all the other variations, but....suffice it to say, when I begin to stitch, I think I understand what I'm suppose to be doing--then all of a sudden, it makes absolutely no sense at all--clear as mud....However, I go back and watch your videos and try again-so as long as your videos are available, I will continue to try to learn. Thanks, Allie, for this BB episode.

Thanks, Sue! Yes, some stitches are trickier than others. Sometimes staying with RAW until you can do it easily, is a good time to step up a level. Also, try different colours so you can recognise where to go next. Watching different instructors can also help, because everyone has slightly different ways of doing things and sometimes that can turn on a light and you say, "Ooh! Now I get it!" Perseverance is also good. Happy beading, Sue! 😜👍🏼

thank you for this video Allie.......i did the RAW stitch and i have a hang on CRAW and yesterday i was trying to make a pair of earrings with CRAW but i couldn't understand how to attach the ends to form a loop so that the piece could hang from the earring hook i was trying to use......i tried making the loop using the RAW but then i felt that that made it look a bit too bulky for the loop and i went and asked my mum and she said the same thing and asked me to make the loop simple and i had tried for two years to do what i did just yesterday and trust me i ended up making a really long lariat and my mum is like "what are you going to do with that?" and yesterday my dad was telling my cousin about my cubic RAW lariat "i don't know haw she did this but this is what she made last year" and my aunt was like "You really have a LOT of patience for this" and i told them that "i actually don't know how i did that....i guess i just lost count after 27 CRAW boxes" and they all just ended up laughing.....well, Craw does make you do that especially when you are new and trying out things and also when you are dealing with beads that you normally see on bead embroidery dresses.........so if you have seen them, you know how difficult it is to even make out if what you are doing is correct or not until you make a long enough piece.....the earrings i made yesterday had 17 CRAW boxes and it just made a very small loop earring..... i didn't know how to attach it straight so i made it a loop......can you teach the RAW bracelet that you showed with the green crystal bicones? and also the TRAW, because i didn't understand the technique......and even PRAW...... and thank you for this better beader episode.....and it's funny that you found RAW stitch hard at first.......actually the RAW is my first stitch i actually started with and i am known in my family for my RAW stitch earrings and it is my signature and my mum was the first one to tell me to try something different because i didn't know what to do after that and i started RAW earrings after trying to make RAW stitch beaded Tea Coasters out of the tiny seed beads my mum had got for me...... and also i am teaching myself all this.....

How do you make craw in rows though? For instance a 3 x 3 x 1 unit square.
