Me and my homies were all about 15 16 when baker 3 dropped and we were already straight skate rats but this video made alot of us wanna get better and we for sure got gud as they say in the video game world

Antwuan Dixon skating to biggie smalls, to Mike Maldonado skating to Ludacris, to Andrews epic part to Roxy Music. Baker always uses the sickest songs, which made all the skaters parts even more epic. 00-05 was Bakers best era.
It was the takeover for sure... them guys are awesome too I've skated with the team a few times when they roll thru maryland and they're all just like any of us and super mellow but Hella dedicated to skating and good times I remember bein in my 20s and havin not a care in the world too... they just get to live it 24/7

Antwuan has the best style in skate history, I mean who else really skates like him, only other people with similar styles would be Romar, and Yuto, but Antwuans style is something special man, you don’t get skaters like him to often

How can ANYONE not look at this footage and realize filming like this is VASTLY SUPERIOR to what they do now. They have higher resolution cameras now and all they do with them is WRECK all skating happening in front of them. Baker Has a Deathwish Part 2 was a fucking abomination
Agreed man they should just stick to filming in vx and then make sure they always do post production image sharpening so that the footage looks crispy. Also stop filming strobeck style.
It’s that strobekian mindset. It’s a curse and sickness. Unfortunately skating like most things has fads and moments within it that come and go. It is kind of crazy though that Cherry came out like 10-12 years ago? And these companies are just chasing that vibe so hard, it’s painful….shout-outs to beagle for postings these videos. These videos are the true golden era. I’d rather watch these videos and beagles part in shrimp blunt before I go skating then some kid named lyric doing ride on grinds and skating curbs in bhadw2.
@@Cpistol744 it'd be sick if Twuan and Beagle did a solo video part project together. Feel like there'd be magic there cuz they have history together and worked so well together in the past. Was wanting Twuan to go back to Baker like many, but like u pointed out- new Baker's only a shadow of its former glory at this point. I still don't know what FTP's all about; all i know is that i saw a picture of some dude with a messed up face on their website i think, all bloodied up and beaten on and i knew i want nothing to do with that company. Looks like some dark web shit or something...

Like i always hear comments of "yeah it's tolerable, yeah i'm okay with it" etc. But it's not like anyone's ever like "yeah i prefer this film style, make sure u zoom in on my constipated facial expression right before i do the trick" lol.

Crazy to think that people can look at this magnificent footage and still think that today's filming looks good. If Twuans nollie bigspin was filmed today we wouldn't even get to see his style or the set of stairs. It's so fucking whack
