Hey man! The brake pedal stays "pressed" when you leave a mission not because of mechanical issues with the pedals themselves, but the game saves the status of your brake/clutch/accelerator at the moment you enter a mission. Happens to me too, just wanted to say the wheel and pedals aren't at fault. When you press the brake again it resets the status and unlocks the brakes. (Oh and also the cannon literally works like an automatic transmission) Great video btw!!! :)))
im confused by wym about the cannons😂😂but i think you are right about the brake thing but im also partly not wrong , been having many pedal issues with the logitech , like it consist gassing while im driving even though im not touching the gas.
Uhh thought I commented this at 6AM when I woke up, guess not. Anyway, here's a fun fact about career mode: You can make insane amounts of cash by purchasing any vehicle you can afford, removing all of the parts off that vehicle, sell those parts individually, and then after sell the unibody/frame/whatever-the-hell-is-left and profit. It starts off slow but you can make good money. You can also lose money very rarely (like a few grand) on like some models of trailers and stuff but generally you profit anywhere from 1,000~9,000 dollars each time on Lower-cost cars ($0~$9,000 price range) I've filled my garage with a good few cars just doing that. Pays good, but still takes time and work so it doesn't feel cheaty or anything that diminishes a lot from the actual career mode. Also pro tip if you're gonna do this: Make sure you are selling/removing ONLY the vehicle's parts you want to sell. It can be hard to notice sometimes once you get into the rhythm of just click, click, click, etc.

Read this comment and started a new career mode profile. At 23,552 I bought an eSBR and stripped it, sold parts and unibody. After that, I had 32,163. Then it was a vivace tograc. After I finished the process with that one, I had 41,009. Definitely works man, thanks.
well, it's good to see this sort of thing happening, now that this is possible. I remember the time before when you couldn't sell parts out of your garage, so when you removed parts or upgraded things on your car, those parts were in storage forever.

Sick video, but you should really just buy a trailer (Because heavy loads that require trucks appear pretty rarely and a trailer can fit 128x2 slots) and a cheap car with a lot of horsepower or torque (like the bruckell bastion, got one with 400hp for 15k) and then just attach a tow hitch on it for 500. Though it's really just not worth it to drive cargo around.
@16:20 go to camera settings, you can change the orbit camera delay and snap speed to follow you quicker. I turn delay straight off. edit: for the black screens, upgrade your pc :3
This is so entertaining lol subbed. nice to see a car guy playing this game who actually knows cars, most of the big beam youtubers wouldnt be able to tell an oil pan from a baking pan and its just annoying to hear them talk about shit they dont understand with this game. if i had a dollar for every time neilogical tried to off-road a truck without putting it into four wheel drive.. except for 'no gas in the trugg' that was p funny lol all love tho but the big red button on your wheel starts the engine or the V key
That glitch you keep blaming on your wheel is a beamng thing. It holds your last input before a loading screen. I get the same issue with my thrustmaster. Also rather than restarting missions, complete them and do them again and get twice as much
24:00 you move the canons like you would move a car. its a driving game. Also when you test drive cars, you have to turn the engine on to drive. thought that was obvious lol 🤦♂

16:23 You can actually change the settings of the interior camera to look towards the direction you are moving, so during drifting it looks to the side so you can actually see.
yooo, you can change gears on the canons and steer with your wheel, its really weird dont get me wrong, but you can drive the canons once you put it in drive then you can angle them better

theres a first person drift camera which u can enable in the settings if u turn up the drive/lookahead angle (they basically just put that mod into the game)
If you're looking for a good drift camera then the enhanced chase camera mod on the repository might be up your alley. It has configurable look ahead for drifting, among other things.
the reason why there where no gas in the truck you where going to buy ist that the engine and all the accesorys where off. if you hold "v" on your keyboard it turns the engine and the accesories on and than the gas is displayed
Hey when you buy a car you have to start the engine, it says there's no gas because the ignition isn't on, if you press and hold v it will start or click the start button on screen
the issue your haveing with the brakes is the game if you switch cars with a button presed it will keep it presed when you get back and all you have to do to fix it is just press the button it has preesed
I tried this yesterday and my cars just disappear and bug out. Stoked for it to be more finished because its really fun. I felt like i was playing the game for the first time again.

on the main menu , you’ll see career mode bit its like blacked out a bit , just click on it and it’ll tell you it’s experimental and that you’ll run into crashes . say ok or whatever and then get to playing

I loved this video! I've got a little advice for you - you can customise your insurance policy (there are several options to be changed). One of the options is paint application to the replaced parts. That means that the insurance will be a little more expensive but in my opinion it's 100 % worth it. :) You can also move the cannons - make sure the correct gear is selected and the "engine" is started, then you can steer and drive it forwards and backwards.
Thing I learnt from having way too many hours on BeamNG: -The brake thing is a beamNG thing, not because of your wheel (I guess this happens because the game keeps your car somewhere to not overwrite the damages and changes car to the mission one, keeping record as well of the imputs you were pressing the last time you were in that vehicle, which is something BeamNG just does.) -You drive the cannons by putting them in drive and reverse, I took me more time than i'm willing to admit to find this out -All of the cars in the dealerships along the map can be found on the computer, so they are pretty useless and a waste of time to go to. -Not too sure about the gas thing but, wasn't the ignition just turned all the way off? The game just displays the fuel and temp gauges completly empty if you have the ignition off Great video BTW, I really enjoyed it!
thank you bro🤝very helpful , especially the canon part did not know that. and everyone i saying that to me but the ignition wasnt at the bottom right of the screen as it always is (even when cars are off ) so i thought my game was bugging like it has many many times before .
I would highly recommend the RLS Career Mode Overhaul mod. It adds police and balances the game a bit more rewarding as well as riskier. You get paid for police chases which i enjoy a lot I've actually made the chases pay different based on the conditions of the chase, but that's something i added and not part of the mod but it is simple to add so if you are interested i can help you with yours if you'd want
Npc rear ended a stopped car, tried to continue driving and only realized the bumper was the “bump” before getting stuck, (70s steel bumper) either was a dude who is rage quitting or a blonde girl confused about everything
This is exactly my experience playing beam career,currently driving a clapped ass d series with a dent in every panel,a bent rear axle,and I'm just delivering cars tryna fix it cause I also crash every 5 seconds 😂🤦
