I really hope that the freezing/black screen issue gets resolved. This is one of my favorite series you're doing right now. Long drive, mon bazou, junkyard truck(if anything new comes about) and this. Dredge and stranded deep w/Books were also amazing. Jus' sayin' guy

Do you know you have a transfer case on the off road trucks? its down near your speed-o and you have to click on it to go from 2H-4H-4LO there are also two symbols for the diff lockers

Ive never had the issue with black screening. The onty really game breaking bug.ive had was the ui not loading after opening the map. Reopening the map seems to fix it however.

When the black screen issue appears, it's sometimes possible to get something back by resizing the beam-ng window. Not the best solution, but you might be able to save your progress at least if you get access to the game menu.

Have you tried driving through a gas station? On some BeamNG game modes if you drive through the gas station it repairs your car.

Like this series a lot so far and i'm new to your videos. To clear up some possible confusion with the missions you can try to look in the map view to the left menue. There you can select one of the four scenario types (race, cargo, ...) then select witch ever you like in the scroll menue in the left. I never selected the missions on the map. This way you can try them in increasing difficulty (top to down). I hope you stick with the game, even with it's current flaws.

Theres a mod to swap in V8s to any car. So if you wna tsime real fun you can find that mod, and give your car a supercharged V8.

If you get a black screen you just have to spam escape
