When I play this game I frequently catch myself grinning like a child......I'm 56. It's unbelievable when you start unwrapping the layers of this piece of software,.."there's so much here" is truly an understatement.
the best reviews ive seen are the ones from like 2015, 2016, where they say the game feels very bland and boring, but they have recent edits about how they were wrong and they have like 2000 hours in it now
To be fair the dude saying it's too complicated has a point. If you stick with it it isn't that confusing but when you just get into it and you have no idea what you are doing it is incredibly confusing.
eh, i started playing recently and while it is kind of overwhelming it isn’t unplayable, a lot of the options like separate gear changes, tweaking suspension, etc are really just for the über realism hardcore driving sim players
as good as it is having a review system for games, steam reviews are just shit and shouldnt exist, literally giving a game a negative review because "funi meme" is so dumb and the developer/steam should be able to remove these false reviews
It would be more correct if they said it's very annoying when I tap a wall it not only does my wheel act like it got shot by a rocket launcher but also my entire suspension likes to explode
I play beam a lot but I still have my old dislike review from 2018 when I sucked at driving in it and just left it there out of spite for my bad skills 😂

I mean yeah but the guy who says its not a finished game isnt wrong. This game will probably never leave early access and people will still just defend it by saying its not "finished" Its not really a valid defense when its not going to be finished like, ever.
can someone explain how to enjoy beam ng because i downloaded the "free" version to see if i like the game and i dont get it. the menus are complicated and idk how to switch it to wasd instead of arrow keys and if i click off the game it changes the game window to bordered but after that i dont get whats fun about it, yes the car crashes are cool but i dont get what else to do. Im not a race sim person so maybe thats why but i cant find anything fun to do in this game.

@@fourhua don't watch those videos they have bad advice I'm even more bored after watching those use your brain and figure something to do like drifting, multiplayer, racing on your own because if you find something to do on your own it's usually actually fun for you and not generalized for a whole group of people
@@Zoomrail I somewhat agree, however i must say that those videos are amazing for new players, who may not/will not know all of the features the game has to offer, and therefore the video can be very helpful.
Trash engine 😂😂, imagine spending years and years adding onto your engine cuz it's too trash to use dx11, instead of actually spending the time to develop your game, "CryEngine too expensive copium" there's way better choices then TrashCan3D and oh "Early Access" 😂😂😂 lmfao, it's been in Early Acess since 2013 this game is a joke
Development of a game of this standard is not easy! Not to mention the frequent updates. The engine is very optimised despite what people say as beamNG can run on a fairly simple computer. But i respect your opinion.
