Very helpful and thought out explanation/tutorial. Seems a bit of a tricky task, something I'm probably not very good with. Did you notice much of a difference with the new seals? I definitely have some form of wind-noise from the driver side (RHD)
It’s more noticeable if the seals that causing wind noise is closer to you. My driver side seals had that thin strip separate due to sun damage. My passenger sides were just old and decided to replace them anyways. But it can also help when you go over bumps, old seals tend to squeak more when the car body flex’s, the rubber isn’t supple to flex
I used Chemical Guys general purpose cleaner. You can usually find one in any parts store, doesnt have to be Chemical Guys brand, but at least a good quality cleaner.
