Mr Bean finds himself in the middle of a war movie?!
Rowan Atkinson's madcap, quirky creation Mr Bean is a global phenomenon having been sold to over 200 territories worldwide and has been in continual distribution in many territories for over 20 years. Now available in HD, the show follows Mr Bean as he tries to extricate himself from embarrassing situations but only ends up getting himself in more trouble. Mr Bean has won six awards including the Golden Rose of Montreux and an International EMMY and is written by some of the UK's leading comic talent including Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and A Funeral, Notting Hill) and Ben Elton (Blackadder, The Young Ones).

When you realize Mr. Bean’s got balls to save a civilian from danger more than we do. Even they’re not filming it, he’s not gonna second-guess to sacrifice his life. You may think Mr. Bean’s dumb and stupid, but he’s got a good heart.

That's the point, I guess. Bean is a fallen angel whose life/career ends in this movie with his redemption as he reaches the sea in Cannes, and they all sing "La Mer" - a song with significant religious lyrics about angels). Part of the healing process is meeting Sabine, and the fact that they together form a kind of pseudo-family with Stepan (British-French-Russian reconciliation). Bean drops much of his sly selfishness as the movie continues, doing more and more good deeds.

You cannot truly predict how you’d feel unless you somehow experience the real thing. I had a dream in which I took an elevator and it took me back in time. My heart raced and I current of panic swept over me. My eyes saw something nostalgic but thinking I was on my own.. in the middle of.. where??? Turning around only made things worse as I started to think where should I go from here and is there a way to go back? 😄 Hell of a dream it was but there was that moment in which I paused and focused on the old view my eyes got hold of and I was like “Wow! This is exactly how it looked in pictures!”. The year probably was not far back.. it looked like in mid 70s. It was hilarious but honestly frightening as well, too. I felt great relief as I woke up realizing it was just a #$(;++- dream. LOL
