We've seen mixed comments, too. However whole we arent experts, we didn't see anything that caused us concern. There were plenty of wide open spaces, and the animals appeared to be happy enough. We thought the animal experiences were really good, especially the Andean Bears. We did our trip as part of a cottage stay, which was excellent value for money. It was a long way to go for us, but we really enjoyed it.
