Phenomenal band Bear Ghost performing live at DC9. They remind me a lot of old school Oingo Boingo! Apologies for the annoying cut in the middle of a song at 33:10... my phone decided it hit the maximum filesize and therefore lost a couple seconds as it started a new video right in the middle of a song!

God this band is OUTSTANDING also the dude playing drums. My ass is YEARNING to see them live so badly that it’s absorbing everything in the atmosphere! Please Bear Ghost! Come to NY so my asshole can stop creating a black hole in the middle of the universe!!

Damn... That hit Thomas took at 12:17 xD. They way they handled it was just perfect though and it didn't throw anyone off! Now that's professional! On an unrelated note, I wish Thomas would ever rejoin the band!

Manuel it is a bit complicated but the general idea is that Andrew, the bassist, had a romantic relationship with someone and Thomas thought it inappropriate, which caused a dispute between him and the other members. As time passed he would not be notified of rehearsals any more and was slowly pushed out of the band’s members life and anyone who is related to them.

@@VicTerri6 ohh thats so ugly to hear. I just read a comment in Thomas' facebook about a '31 year old man dating a teenager" I suppose that makes sense after reading this. I hope they solve their problems soon!

@@0Sirennno no no, he means when they repeat "welcome to the bear ghost show" then it slowly gets louder until they shout it out. That's when it becomes the btbbrbbq solo

3:09 is he tuning his guitar while playing and singing?

Yes. You can hear something messed up the tuning after the intro, and the first few notes on Necromancin is sour a.f. You can see his horrified face as he realizes that the guitar out of tune (how can you be out of tune ALREADY, I tuned you one minute ago?) and rushes to tune it during the verses. Really slick!
