Hi Patrick! I would absolutely love spending my days like you watching the bears, and feeding Bandito! I turn 77 this year, and to me this would be such an exciting life! Living in Indianapolis I don’t have the opportunity to feed bears although I live by the woods! We do have deer, but they don’t stay close like the bears! I have watched them running down the road, and love it! Have a good day!

I don’t have a life with a lot of peace, so I want to thank you for such peaceful videos. I grew up around black bears, and I’ve always loved them. I’ve moved to Central Europe where there’s not a lot of wildlife due to loss of habitat and over hunting, and they really see bears as monsters that are meant to be shot if they get too close to a city. I love that these videos show that animals and humans can live side by side with mutual respect.

I’ve got to say what a beautiful girl Luca is, that coat, I’m still amazed at the agility of these amazing creatures! I love how she remembers grandpa Conley’s place and the poor old bird feeder which takes a good bashing once again 😂. and that respectful wee glance back as she leaves for the night. Hi Patrick, your flowering shrubs,and bushes and you flower strewn lawn (clover?) Is so lovely. Your wonderful evening visitor, Luca is looking so very healthy. I love her unique style of getting off the porch rail head first. She is confident of her ability to land well. It's got to be tricky for her to balance on the rail on her two rear foot pads, reach up and try to tip your feeder just so, hopefully not to dump your offering on the porch floor. And I love her easy slow and steady pace, though she is very alert to sound and smells. Very kind of you to shed more light on her yummy snack. Hope you have a cool evening breeze. When I was not quite grown, there used to be these radio commercials with Tom Bodette for Motel 6 with a folk tune being played on a fiddle. Bodette would talk about the clean, comfortable rooms and at the end he'd say "we'll leave the light on for ya."
