People look at me with the eww face to the point where I question whether or not growing this beard is really for me. But I look at it some times and I like it even tho currently I'm in the awkward stage
Love all the advice and 99.9 percent great advice. One thing I would say is I have never had an issue with Walmart combs. Definitely my biggest piece of advice is with the heated straightening brush. Well worth the money. Also bought at Walmart for 25 bucks and it works perfectly. Great video my man keep it up!
Great advice Ken! If only I had known all these things at the beginning of my beard journey, I would have been so much better off. For anyone growing out their beard for the first time, getting through the awkward phase where your beard starts growing down rather than wrapping beneath your chin is the hardest part. Follow Ken's advice and you'll be good to go!
I'm at 4 weeks now and starting to doubt myself. I've got a good mustache, goatee, and neck coverage but my cheeks are super patchy and thin. It feels like they're not going to be able to fill in. Not sure what to do. I really want the full beard but it just looks bad now.
Excellent video & tips, Ken! I think it's important that guys know that heat isn't needed to have a great looking beard. It's more of a personal preference. Your beard has a great texture to it naturally, so I love that you're rocking what you got! Great job, love! ❤
I disagree on the heat Mel. Blow drying was a game changer for me. It’s not for all the guys but every beard is different. If I don’t blow dry my beard curls up and looks awkward. But definitely it’s all personal preference! Please keep it G rated! 😆
Actually, if you read into the history of beards, men have been using oils in their beards for thousands of years. It's 100% fact that natural oils help beards to be healthier and better. Appreciate your insight though! I hope you have a great week!
Thanks for your advice ken great vid! 💯 17 years old growing out my beard for the first time and I love how it’s coming out so far however it doesn’t connect to my mustache which I know will eventually come with age but it does frustrate me at times but then I look at others my age and I realize how blessed my beard genetics are so I guess it’s not all that bad lol
Awkward phase is always a challenge, and it doesn't only happen at the beginning. Whenever you want to go for some growth or a major change, it's awkward until it comes in. But like you said, you know what you want and you're growing it for you. So just keep on going!
