So thankful for this video, Mahesh. I just had a visit to the barber yesterday and, as usual, wasn't quite satisfied. And so this video pops up in my recommended. Synchronizity, eh? Ended up trying to replicate your beard in this vid and it turned out to be the best trim I've ever had. As a fellow baldie I can now do all of my trimming myself. Empowering. You've got yourself a follower.
RU-vid sent me here, probably because I've watched so many of your Beardbrand videos lol. The short beard really suits you and I'd definitely be interested in your tips for growing an epic moustache. I keep my beard short, about 6mm and I'm going for a first time beardstache and need all the help I can get. Also subscribed!
I'm trying to grow a Mahesh moustache, the way you had it before the pandemic. Please keep on showing how you maintain it, as you grow it back and also what products you use to manage it. I'm grateful for your help and the peace you transmit. 👍🏻
Thanks for the tips! Just realised you're from Beardbrand. Thought I'd seen you somewhere before! ..been watching some of those beardbrand videos. Always invaluable for tips and tricks - and what a master of your craft you are. The short beard looks good.....but you also look great with a long beard.
Thanks a million, Mahesh, for sharing such valuable information. You're a heck of a Master! As usual, I mostly freehand everything, except for the mustache or the scruffy look. When sculpting my beard, I freehand by making long, smooth, and steady strokes. A word of caution: one must have steady hands. The result is a uniform well-sculpted beard because it removes all the flyways. Keep up the extraordinary job.
My decent Van Dyke and wispy weak jawline took four months to grow. This guy grows a fine beard in 4 weeks! Due to my slow growth, I'm terrified to go near it with clippers in case I screw-up and have to shave it all off. Barber - who was asked to tidy without removing length - proceeded to chop off about a months growth, so I'm now wary about that, too. Anyway, really useful video.
Hi Mahesh! Hope you are well and family. Ive been growing my beard now for a month and half. Sides can be trimmed on a grade 8. My goal is to try and get it to Carlos' beard. But my chin hair is less bulky. Did he let the chin hair grow and the just keep the sides trimmed to achieve that look? I was think of keep the sides at a grade 8 and just maintain the chin hair with scissors, what do you think?
I just put my clippers on 1&1/2 and go sideways and everything is nice and tidy. I also use zero gapped Clippers to get around the mustashe area, under the neck and read sideburns for that crispy clean look. Good job and good video.
Hi Mahesh. Glad to see you back with a beard content. I was wondering on how you trimmed the neckline so close to the jawline? Is there any specific reasons behind it? How would it fare when growing out a longer beard?
Mahesh, please let me know where you are ,if you are still in Austin? I live about 2.5 hrs from Austin and would love to drive there and get you to trim my beard. I’m 74 and have grown a beard for the first time in my life!
How did you have the courage for the head tats? Id love to get one on my right side, but I'm scared. I shave bald at 54 and have gray/white hair like you.
Hi Mahesh great video! I’m currently growing my beard ( 2 months currently) I’ve not done any form of maintenance so far, would you recommend just to leave it grown until the barbers shops are back open on July 4th? or attempt and probs fail ? my beard is very difficult to trim (according to the few barbers I’ve recently visited) because my hairs grow in any and every direction. Cheers - Leight :)
Mahesh, Excellent Tidy Up Video. The New Beard and Mustache are Fabulous. Thanks as Always for the Helpful Hints, the Open Heart, and Kind Spirit. Be Well, Brother ❤️🤓🙏❤️
Thanks Mahesh. I've grown a lockdown beard, first time I have ever grown facial hair. Really liked the short and tidy look. My biggest concern is the neckline, I was always led to believe from other beard care videos that you don't follow the jaw line and it should be just above the Adams Apple but yours looked quite a bit higher than that?
Thanks for reply Mahesh, appreciate it. Have to say growing this beard has been a really positive distraction in this situation we all find ourselves in. Maybe one day I'll take the trip South from Bristol to visit your shop. Stay well.
I want you to tell me if there are recommended beardoil and beardbarm. And which thing is the trimer which I used for the second third with the latest Beard Trim video?
Sorry sir im just an amateur here. I know youre a professional barber, i saw so many videos about how to cut/trim beards and mostly they say dont cut too high that neckline and you do the opposite:D (probably it depends on what kind of style you want to achieve) Im growing as well and i dont want to cut too high but now im confused little bit. :D Soon ill trim it/shape it and i need some professional advice. Respect: Peter.
