In this video, I am giving you my full review of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 All-in-one trimmer, Model MG3750/60.
For those of you that are trimming your beard on a budget, this trimmer will get the job done and won't break the bank.
At a price point of only $19.99 on Amazon, this Philips Norelco trimmer is extremely affordable and hard to pass up.
Now, where the Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100 both come with 18-built in length trimmer settings and a single beard comb attachment that can be sized on the device, the Multigroom 3000 requires you to keep switching out hair and beard guards for each length you require. There are also a limited number of beard and hair length trimming options.
Additionally, the Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100 both come with foil shaver attachments for finishing off areas with a smooth feel, while the Multigroom 3100 does not. But this should be made up for by the savings in your pocket. If you are happy with a stubble finish, you're good to go!
Where the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 has an advantage is with the precision trimmer attachment. This is the smallest profile have come across in a precision trimmer at only a quarter inch, which is great at fitting into those tight spaces and detailing your beard with ease.
Overall, I was impressed with the results of this all-in-one trimmer. The Multigroom 3000 is affordable, quality made, and get's the job done. It's not as full featured as the Multigroom 5100 and Multigroom 7100, but this is understandable for its bargain price.

Thanks, Tim! I appreciate the positive feedback. As far as sound goes, it does give off a pretty fair amount of buzzing sound. It's definitely not quiet. To me it's in the mid to slightly upper-mid range of sound when I compare against the various trimmers I've used. Hope this helps. I just bought these yesterday at Meijer yesterday for around $20. Not bad price for some beard trimmers. I've bought a lot of beard trimmers and its beard hard finding a good one for me. These ones aren't too bad. I've been trying to grow my beard out more and I used a 7 mm guard and it cuts pretty good and didn't take that much off but took off the right amount. These are pretty solid trimmers. I recommend these to those who are starting off with a first beard trimmer I would recommend buying these.

Great Review, First beard in 25 years. Grew just because of the virus quaranteen. Just got mine & opened the box & all fell out on the floor. I got mine trimmer xmas 2017 and I just hooked it up for my 2nd time charging, like holy crap its battery last months. I use it at least twice a week. I've used it to line my hair line at times as well so I use it often. And the charge still last nearly 6 months. Idk if I got a 1 in a million or the batter's kick @$$ on them!!!!!

In my opinion, the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 (amzn.to/2TkEiIpis) is a great trimmer and one that I continue to recommend. For it's price and what you get out of it, I have found it to be at the top of the beard trimmers I have reviewed to-date. If you haven't already, I recommend taking a look at my video for the Multigroom 7000 seen here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eFn0Si1Bmyc.html. It is definitely a true upgrade from the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 seen in this video. If you're looking for a beard trimmer that has smaller increment settings for really working on that stubble look you are trying to achieve, then I would recommend taking a look at my video on the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer 5500 vs Series 5100 seen here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aSEF_AOenW8.html. Both these trimmers are almost identical in the features, however, the 5500 is the latest version in the 5000 series. These trimmers both have the additional attachments necessary to create those detailed, crisp looks. Personally, the Philips Multigroom 7000 has been the best all-around performer on the beard that I have tested. The Wahl Lithium Ion Plus wins with the hair, as it has more attachments in smaller increment settings to create those tight fades. Hope this helps. Hi, Julian. Thanks for the question. Personally, I have always been fond of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 5100. I like the foil shaver attachment that comes with it and have always found it to be reliable. Time after time its given me a consistent trim and holds a charge well. This Multigroom 5100 lasted me a couple of years, so I definitely got my moneys worth out of it. I have not used the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3100 specifically, however I have looked it over and it looks quite similar to the Philips Norelco Multigroom 5100. It does lack the foil shaver attachment and an extra hair comb attachment that comes with the 5100. It's also got a higher charge time at 35 minutes of cordless use after 10 hours of charge time as compared to the 1 hour of use after 60 minutes of charge time for the Philips Norelco Multigroom 5100. In addition, the Multigroom 5100 has the Turbo button feature that adds a little extra power when cutting thicker hair. Overall, I prefer the Multigroom 5100, however it would come down to pricing for me. I haven't been seeing a ton of the 5100's listed on Amazon lately and I believe any that are there are being price hiked by third party sellers. The Multigroom 3100 also seems a bit high at the $42.95 price I'm seeing right now. If it's between the two, I like the Multigroom 5100, but at the current price point, you should take a look at the Philips Norelco Multigroom MG7750 which is newer, around the same price, and comes with many of the same attachments of the Multigroom 5100. Hi, Charlie. In Canada, from what I can tell, it looks like there are 4 versions of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 Face, Head and Body. Awesome review! I’ve been using the Gillette Mach3 cartridge razor for the longest time. I just picked up this trimmer. The 1mm stubble trimmer does not leave short enough stubble. Can I use the 32mm full-size steel trimmer on entire face to leave stubble?

Thank you! I appreciate it. Yes, you can use the 32mm metal attachment on the entire face and still feel stubble. This will leave a very close trim, but not a smooth shave like the Gillette Mach 3 will give you. That said, I recommend you first test out the 32mm under the neck as I do at 4:47 to see the type of finish that is left. That way you get an idea of what to expect and can see if you like it before jumping straight in. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

It's real easy. Go to 5:08 in the video. There you will see how I pop off the metal trimmer attachment and pop on the precision trimmer attachment. It's the same concept. I can't speak to the experience of others, but as for myself, I am still using the same Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 trimmer that I used in this review (which was created a little less than three years ago now). Additionally, my Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 is still going very strong. Everyone will have a different use case regarding how often they use their trimmer and the way in which they choose to take care of it and follow proper battery maintenance as Philips Norelco describes in their user manual. However, with occasional use and proper care and cleaning, I have had only positive experiences with the battery life of my Philips Norelco trimmers. In addition to that, coincidentally, one of my subscribers "Sean Stout" just commented yesterday on my Hatteker RFC-598 review that: "I'm still using my philips multigroom 3000 had for about 3 yrs still going strong!!." Hi, Антон Метелев. The Philips Norelco Multigroom comes with self-sharpening blades that are reinforced with iron and tempered for maximum strength. Essentially, self-sharpening means that the two stainless steel blades that press up against each other on the device are rubbing ever so slightly on every pass similar to how one might sharpen a knife against a grinding stone. This comes with the foil shaver attachment. When trimming down to stubble, this foil shaver can be used to work through the stubble for an even smoother finish. With a budget of $20, the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3000 really is the best deal, even though it doesn't have a foil shaver. Currently, it's listed on Amazon here in the US for $16.99, which is a bargain. If you desperately need a foil shaver no matter what, there is one included with the Remington PG6025 which can be seen in my video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--nLPQkfozFQ.html . The PG6025 is listed on Amazon for $18.99, however when comparing this trimmer to the Multigroom 3000, the Multgroom 3000 was a better quality product. I also felt that the foil shaver did not perform equally to that of other foil shavers, such as the one included with the Multigroom 7000. I read some comments on amazon that the trimmer stop working in less than 6 months. What do you think?? Yours is still working?? (but I think you don't use it that often anyway?). I'm buying one tomorrow and I was considering the Wahl Color Pro 21 (cordless because I travel a lot and I need a 110-220v one). Bad part with this one is that doesn't have the nose trimmer attachment. Anyway, thanks for the video and I will wait for your answer!!

Hello great video ! But I used this and then I started getting problems with acne looking bumps on my face and a breakage I shave my beard completely with in without any of those beard guard because I choose to have it completely shave off do you think the MG 3000 may be a cause of this should I stop using it?? Hi, Sahil. Yes, according to Philips Norelco, the Multigroom 3000 takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge the product. Once fully charged, it should have and an operating time of up to 75 minutes (model MG3760) or 60 minutes (model MG3750). To your second question, the Multigroom 3000 is intended for use on the face and head. If you are looking for an all around trimmer for face, head and body, I recommend the Multigroom 7000 seen in my review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eFn0Si1Bmyc.html . For use on the nether regions, Philips Norelco recommends using one of their bodygroomers, which offer a more skin friendly option as opposed to going in with a sharp blade.
