On this video I'm taking a look at the Philips Norelco Multigroom Grooming Kit - Model QG3260 to show you how to trim your beard for a tight, detailed look.
The Philips Norelco Multigroom Grooming Kit includes a full size trimmer for beard and head hair, mini shaver for finishing edges with a close result, precision detail trimmer to create and maintain your lines, hair clipper comb that locks into 9 settings, 41mm hair clipper to style your hair, a nose, ear and eyebrow trimmer, and a beard and moustache comb that locks into 9 settings.
Overall, the Philips Norelco Multigroom Grooming Kit QG3260 beard trimming unit is a nice trimmer to add to your grooming tool box. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and would recommend it for your beard trimming experience.

I have been using this beard trimmer for over 6 months now and it has work well for me. I was previously using the Remington PG-360. The PG-360 also works well, however the attachments break easily if your not careful and the trimmer has some charging issues. I would definitely recommend giving this Norelco trimmer a shot. See if you can do it yourself and save some money. It may take a few shaves to get comfortable with a set routine and technique, but you'll get there. Good Luck!

Yes. If you first use the "precision detail trimmer" attachment (0:19), you can cut your beard down close to the skin. Then, use the "mini shaver" attachment (0:22) to get a smooth skin finish. You will have to go over some areas several times, but you can feel with your hand when you have reached a smooth finish. This is the process I use on my neck in the video, and the result turns out smooth to the touch. Detail trimmer at (3:25), then mini shaver at (5:30).

Thanks for the comment. I have not personally used the Philips QG3362/23, however, after review of the product it does come with all the attachments that I used in my video. I think this product will work well for you if you are looking to achieve a similar look. It is not overly expensive and will be an affordable option to try and test out. For an even cheaper alternative there is the Philips QG3352/23 with only 11 attachments, but it may work for you just as well. Thanks again.

Hi Sudeep. I have not personally used the Philips 3320/15 4-in-1 Multigrooming Kit, however, I looked over the product and it does not look to have the same attachments necessary to achieve the full results of my video. If you look at the youtube video link above for the Philips QG3270/32 8-in-1 Multigroom Grooming Kit you can see the full package of attachments you will need, such as the precision detail trimmer and finishing edger for close shaving. In my opinion, the speed of beard growth has to do with our genetic makeup and hormone levels, so not everyone will have the same rate of beard growth. That being said, I'm Italian and started growing facial hair at a young age. If I shave my face completely, in two weeks I will have back a light covering of beard.. In a month I will have a beard closer in thickness to the one shown above. I trim up my beard once a week now, so I don't currently allow my beard to get as thick as it can.

In 1:02 I am using the beard and moustache comb attachment, which has nine position settings. The attachment has positions numbered in intervals of two from position 2 all the way up to position 18. The shortest cut setting is position 2 and the longest is position 18. In the video, I have the attachment positioned on the 4 for a close shave.

I am using the Philips Norelco Multigroom Grooming Kit QG3260/41. The QG3270/41 is basically the same product, its just silver instead of black. I have posted a link above that brings you to the product leaflet.

I usually trim the top of the beard for a slightly more polished look. Great job but wish you had more on the trimmer. Trying to find a good trimmer and lost right now... so many contradicting views... sigh!

Hello again, well it seems the QG3362/23 is the UK version of QG3360 (which i think you are using). I don't think there are any practical differences between the two. I have ordered it and i hope it turns out to be a good one. On a side note i cant keep beard which is more then half a centimeter. My hair grow in a direction towards my ears instead of going down towards neck :s Do you think its in genetics that some people (like you) have perfect direction of hair growth while others do not?

I think putting the outline underneath your chin is one of the most difficult things you can do, especially if you're in a hurry. I usually do it with the beard trimmer first then follow up with shaving gel and a razor.

The scissor I use is a "nail scissor." I used the Beard and Moustache Trimming Comb on the 8mm setting in this video. Sometimes I like to use the 6mm setting on my side burns and the left and right side of my face and use the 8mm setting on my goatee to create a dimensional look. Thanks for watching.
