I still don’t know how good a head coach Eberflus is, but he’s pretty damn good at calling a game defensively.

I was actually quite surprised how he protected the ball and did not turn it over, also how he placed the ball around his receivers Protecting the positioning, I don’t even know if that’s a term but hats off to the kid… He’s not a dumb dumb.

lol what? he got about 10 balls tipped that are gonna start being picked off and bears got extremely lucky none of them did.

Stat sheet wise, yes. But he has to get some more air under those balls to avoid all the line deflections

im suprised they didnt mention deandre carter ripping off a 66 yard return when they were talking ab the new kickoffs. I didnt look at other games but i assume that was one of if not the longest return of the first week

I’m surprised they didn’t talk about him in general, he was huge. Between kick returns and punt returns I think he had almost 40 yard average in returns that game. He had quite a few big returns

The IOL is abysmal, and has been for years with the exception of Olin Kreutz. No QB can properly develop getting rushed up the middle constantly. Get on that, Mr. 'Flus (and Poles).

I was hoping they put bagent in also. Bagent seems more relaxed in the pocket. Caleb was way too nervous and didn’t look like he did in the preseason games

Clueless. A great example how we blame the players, when the team loses. We give the coaches credit, when the team wins. Must be nice to be white. It must have been frustrating to hear all of Chicago cheering for your scapegoat last year. Guess who they will blame this year, Matt. 🤓
