@emerywills5814 Bears are good climbers, they climb trees, fences, even high ones. I think the only type of fence bears would have trouble with would be a tall vertical barred fence, since there'd be no horizontal bars to step their hind paws upon while climbing, they need to be able to do that to climb. Unless it's wood where can stick their claws into to sturdy their hind legs, which they do when climbing tree trunks. But a metal vertical bar fence, a bear won't be able to climb, unless it's short. The only other kind of fence a bear wouldn't be able to climb is barbed wire, but that would cut and hurt them and wouldn't be right.
@alvexok5523 This is why, if I wanted to keep say, gators or bears out, it would be vertical bar fencing about eight feet high. It works perfectly, it's sturdy, they can't climb it, and they can't get hurt on it. Just because I don't want 'em in my yard is no reason to hurt 'em. Not to mention they block a lot less of the view! The other, cheaper option is a y- or -t top chain link fence. They can still climb it but getting over the top of it is a right heinous painus in the anus for them.

Oh, they'll be a problem soon enough now. Bears have a great memory and if they liked it, they'll be back. God forbid any human's in that pool or in that backyard when momma bear and her babies show....
They were so polite and did not wreck anything and they all carefully climbed over the fence. If you had not seen them; you would have never known that they were there enjoying the nice refreshing pool. It looks like they might be regulars!
You know, it almost seems human like: mom goes in the pool with the kids, the kids are playing about in the water,etc. And it’s amazing how easily the bears get over those fences. Thanks for sharing!
Romario they sound like an old couple and i’m sure they would be out there watching, they built their house in the woods they knew they were gonna have bears, it ain’t that deep.
I love how nice they were about it. They left after they were done and didn’t make a fuss or anything. And I found it cute how it looked like the two cubs were playing ❤

There have been many disasters in our history that's whipped out huge percentages of the human population. If it happened again, would you know how to make a simple snare that would save your life? Forgot natural disasters, what about a little hiking trip and you get turned around and end up lost in the deep forest. Could you servive a week without being something else's lunch? And even if you were able to kill a Bear, would you remember to fully cook it to kill the parasites so you don't end up with those parasites? There are many things you don't understand, Club Hound! You need to worry about human predators, they can smell your weakness.

@@kmc9452 Yes. Back when I was younger and neighbors with pools went out of town so we would run over jump in really quick and get out. Pool Hopping!! That was also when people knew all their neighbors and it wasn't a big deal. Usually one of your friends or parents friends pool. Plus we never damaged property.

ZuPeR ZoNiKo I think you’ve been told the wrong thing. We are saved by grace through faith alone not of works. Serving Him is not so you don’t end up in hell. The only thing that saves you is believing Jesus died for you and His blood cleanses you. You were probably in bondage and fear, not truly set free by Jesus. If you put your faith in Jesus you wouldn’t end up in hell. You are justified by faith. Salvation is super simple. When you put your faith in Jesus you can be under grace and not condemnation. The only reason to serve Jesus is out of love for be kind and loving to others, helping out the poor and wanting to spread the gospel. It shouldn’t be that you have to, it’s that you want to. It doesn’t save you from hell doing those things, only Jesus does. It makes me sad that you had such a judgmental family, when they should’ve been encouraging and helping you out of love through any struggles. You never had to be perfect, it’s not possible. God loves you so much. I think you had the wrong idea. The reason why we do those things is because we want to, we know it makes God happy and so it makes us happy. Being loving and helping out people is beautiful it’s not always easy at all though. We all mess up. Either way it was never about going to church and religion. It’s a relationship with Jesus. Not religion. Going to church is for fellowship and to learn and be around other believers. Not because we have to. I think you had been out under the law when we are not. We are under grace. They took a dip in the pool and were gone quickly. If this was a random or rare visit, there is no problem and no need to scare them away. Now the caveat is that they are not hanging around, getting in trash, or someone is feeding them. If they get habituated to the point of food conditioning, then yes that is a major problem. But like I said, random visit, not an issue at all; especially if they take off when you go outside. You want them to have that natural fear of man, but the reality is for many who live in the country, wildlife encounters occur, are expected and enjoyed. Regardless, some habituation is expected in terms of coexisting in the same environment. We just have to ensure we don't interfere, like I said by feeding or such. As for a fence, they climb trees, cliffs and treacherous terrain for a living. a 3' chain link fence is no match. In fact, all you are really keeping out with that are rabbits and coyotes. Anything that really wants to get in, including deer will.
Bears are actually really good natural climbers and north American predators. They are faster than a human. They are stronger than a human. They can climb better than a human. You can look up videos where they literally climbed up a tree like cats in order to sniff human hunters. Fences are nothing honestly.

That was always me and my siblings when our parents told it was time to go, we’d try to stay in for another twenty minutes more than we were supposed to.
