Russell Wilson is at the end of his career. Justin Fields is at the beginning. Steelers should find out what they have in him. The only way to do that is for him to play in their system and see.

Take a look at Fields numbers compared to Lamar Jackson's for the last 20 games and remember the Ravens have by far the better team and coaching staffs; Jackson Fields Dropbacks 663 668 Comp pct 66% 62% Yds/att 7.8 6.8 TD-Int 26-8 26-14 Rush Yds 1,032 1,376 Rush TD's 6 9 adding to this is that since 1950 there have only been 2 QB's to improve year to year in each of these categories over their first 3 NFL seasons; wins, pass yards, completion percentage, interception percentage and passing rating those 2 QB's; Josh Allen & Justin Fields take a look at what Fields had to deal with in his first 2 seasons in Chicago in regards to opportunity and the talent around him - they finally gave him some talent in year 3 and he improved considerably! Chicago should have kept him and traded the first - Pittsburgh has found a gem of a QB which I predict will be their starter for the next decade - Fields is a class act too and will be just as good of an addition to that Steeler locker room as he was in Chicago - he was loved by his teammates which is lso quite telling of Justin Fields the person!

Let Fields sit and actually LEARN! The Bears didn't provide that to Fields. Fields should get a couple plays each game for certain personnel packages but Russ should be the starter for most of the year

I disagree on the Fields point though, I think he will play sometime this season even if Russ is fine and playing good, maybe mid way through, at half time, if they are up etc, because firstly they will want to test fields, secondly they have to make a decision for next year because you can’t red shirt fields much longer than that tbh, so do they keep Russ for another couple of years or is fields their QB of the future, and if he is on the roster, why not test some things in an actual game, so I think he will see play time, but it was always clear Russ for now is the starter, this however could change quite easily as the steelers have nothing but 1 mil for 1 year on Russ, they could bench him tomorrow and feel nothing

Caleb is going to thrive in Chicago. We gave him a lot of weapons and a solid defense. This isn't a normal #1 picking team.

My own opinion but i think all four teams in the NFC north have a shot at the title. Yes the packers and lions are proven but Chicago has a lot of opportunity to improve! So do the Vikings.i think the Vikings have a better coaching staff but anybody that plays the NFC north this season cannot chalk that game up as an easy win, NFC north will be a gauntlet!

The bears beat Detroit in their last meeting and should have won both games last season. That was with back up jf1 and without Keenan Allen Deandre swift and Gerald Everett. Packers are who the bears should worry about. We already got detroits number.

Russ was 11-19 as a starter the last 2 years. Pass completion percentage is the same as Fields but he’s 10 years older. That superbowl means very little in 2024.
