It is ridiculous. It will be selectively enforced, giving the refs even more control over the game's outcome.

The way it's being enforced right now looks arbitrary indeed, you see two similar tackles where one is called and the other is not. However, it's also the preseason for the refs. Let's hope they can find a way to properly call the rule before the end of preseason. Also, when are you even going to eject a person for breaking this rule? Isn't a ball carrier tucking his head basically the same thing? The refs have to figure out where those lines should be drawn in this preseason.

More important he needs to learn how to escape the pocket when it collapses. His speed makes up for it sometimes, but RG3 was noticeably better at it despite having slowed down. Lamar's main thing is his legs and ability to run. Knowing how to escape is absolutely crucial.
