The Chicago Bears are 1-0 after their 24-17 win over The Tennessee Titans, giving them their first opening day win in 2 years.
The Chicago Bears defense won the day, only allowing 244 yards of total offense, cooked Will Levis and DeAndre Hopkins with 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble. Tyrique Stevenson, Jaylon Johnson, Darell Taylor, and Gervon Dexter Sr. were a HUGE party of this win, and The Bears look like a super bowl defense.
Not only that, special teams was a MASSIVE player, thanks for DeAndre Carter, Jonathan Owens, and Daniel Hardy who constantly put the Bears in good field position and even had a blocked punt for a TD.
Caleb Williams and the offense could not get things going. D'Andre Swift had a nice couple runs with a big hurdle at the end, but the Bears offensive line made things difficult for Williams.
To make matter worse, Rome Odunze's injury was tough, a Grade 1 knee sprain, and he will be out for a few weeks. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as we thought, but Velus Jones Jr. needs to be more careful from doing more damage to this team.
After all that, The Chicago Bears take on Joe Mixon, C.J Stroud, and Nico Collins on Sunday Night football in Week 2 against the Houston Texans.
Tune in as we have all the highlights and news entering Week 2 for The Chicago Bears and Houston Texans.
