We still using the "males only protect the pride" route? This is seriously out-dated thinking. Male lions are just as capable of hunting as females.

I hate when people say that too😂 The males literally come in and hunt when it’s the big game like Buffalo or giraffe. Females hunt the smaller prey like antelope, zebra, things like that. I’m totally with you, I think people forget male coalitions are a thing as well!!!

Yes, but their main purpose is to protect their pride, that's the point of the matter.. Male lions hardly hunt, but mainly protect their pride and territory.. That's the whole point of the matter, and also, male lions are not really fit for hunting because of their heads.. They can hunt, but not effectively.. If the lionesses should stay out of it, it'd be more impossible for male lions to catch a prey, but lionesses don't really need the male lions' help to hunt, because they were just built up to hunt..
