Years ago (mid 1990's) it was awesome to watch Loretta Lynn's 500 classes. The sound of 40 open class bikes enter the first corner was awesome to hear and see!

beautiful race. quick question anybody out there know how to fit a kx500 with a Pneumatic or electronic shifter. I lost my left leg six months ago well I didn't lose it I know where it's at. trying to come up with a way to shift my 2003 kx500 I would appreciate some help

Not the answer I had hoped for. I ordered and electronic kit from Pingel and will just have to figure it out when it gets here. I will try to document its installation with video. I will have to install a battery for this to work. Stay tuned on my channel.

I don't get how these guys are able to pin it and not have the front wheel go waaaay up. I think I need my suspension properly set because sitting on the tank in a straight and you get head shake. Sit nicely in the middle and that front wheel won't stop coming up. Nice job.

Belicose777 try smoothing out the power . Retard timing or reed spacer , aftermarket pipe on a Kx 500 usually mellowed it . You can also try gearing taller, slower acting throttle

whats the difference between the kx and kdx?

Mainly the gear ratios in the gearbox. KX had 60cc, 80cc, 125cc, 250cc, 500cc (all 2 strokes). The KDX Models were for enduro/woods bikes they had a 175cc, a 200cc, and later a 250cc models again 2 strokes
