If you've ever heard squirrels or crows/magpies fighting over territory, this is the sound they quite often make. Could also be foxes, as they make horrid screaming sounds when fighting or in season.
In the 80's you had to get a licence to have your exotic pet (most likely purchased during the fad of the 70's) and rather than pay out hundreds, people let their pets free into the wild.
@@jameskilbane3690 but the licence was expensive so people let their animals go (1976). an expert recently said there could be more then 500 cats in the uk.
It sounds like the fox cubs that play outside my house. I have only heard it in the early hours though, but I do live in the city so it's probably the safest time to be out.
That noise sounds like a really angry chihuahua parrot hybrid killing something, but really it’s probably like a fox, dog or raccoon fighting over a little mouse or something
For everyone looking for a time stamp comment of the sighting in this video, there isn't one. There is only sounds that haven't been properly identified yet. Nothing was actually caught on camera...🤦♂️
It's either two male foxes fighting over a female or fox cubs scrapping over a dead mouse. I'd go with the former as when male foxes get all worked up over a female, they're oblivious to what's going on around and the noise the camera person made, would have spooked cubs.
Just watched the Monster Quest episode on this. Some of the “evidence” was laughable. One such “compelling” example being video footage from distance of the supposed animal in a farmers field. Nevermind the creature in the footage clearly being nothing more than a black Fox. Clear as day not even feline, nor that big.
