i remember beastars being ignored for basically being a "furry" gate anime but now look at my boy legosi getting love and attention he deserves. the manga is great but the anime coupled with the music is just amazing

Haru : a rabbit and wolf can't be together , there is no place in hell that you can't eat me . Legosi : yeah that true but I got a reason not to eat you , I LOVE YOU.

I think Will is one of the best versions of the main theme, it feels so melancholic yet so hopeful, it sounds so sad with how slow it is, the gaps between the notes give it the feeling of pure emotion, whether it be sadness, hopefulness, or hopelessness, or a mix of all three, it fits a character like Legosi perfectly.

This melody sounds like I've heard before, especially in some Ghibli's works.

Hearing every single one of them always sends me chills down my spine

it really capture the complex nature of their society, it using a multiple instrument show how diverse are the society that they live in ,it capture what thing that you can't reach somewhere or something that is not real, like legoshi loving haru.

We talk about the future, everyone around it seems to be worried about it really, or sometimes the present seems to be the rage, quite literally. I can't get it though, it sounds dull, annoying sometimes. But not with you, can't bring myself to be mad at you, my bro, in another thought, it would've been nice to move to Canada and go with our lifes cheerfully. But let's be honest, I'll never get there, I.... Don't really want to continue you know? I'm so tired, and I can't find a reason to change it, I can't find one that makes sense, maybe nothing makes sense. But you were keeping me from ending it, why? I don't know, I care for you, but as I said before, it doesn't really make sense to me. Feeling, knowing that I'm going towards nothing, just gets everything out of me, wanting to not have been cursed with being conscious, to not have been put into this situation, both living and dying seem meaningless, so why do I have to choose one over the other? This anime is different form all you have ever seen a perfect complex of reality and fantasy. I really wish for a season 3 out of everything :)

A wolf who strives to overcome his identity as monster wolf , one who lures in darkness ,but end up as a wolf as a carnivore. He strive to become friends ( haru and legosi) but ended up being a carnivore with a herbivore.

Why Beastars ost r so good ? So jazzy, so emotional ... AHHHAHAHAHAHAH

The story I can imagine with this song is (at least the first one): A mother who has never treated her kids very well, and the kids rebelled on her (let's say they're 9 and 13 yrs old), and now she's looking at their corpses floating in a small lake. It's daytime. The mom is in realization of how distant her kids have become from her, and she's on her knees... crying. Conclusion: after all those years the parent had neglected her children, she'll have to accept the fact that all that neglection ultimately led to her children's death, and she was too late to save them.

i can't distinguish this music with classic european music! it seems the same

I like the Legosi-fied version the most (5:27). It's the happiest sounding of the six 😊

God what a good example of the motivic movement through this entire piece! the beastars theme is recurring in a lot more songs, but this is a great complication of the key points they used this theme. I love the way the composer was able to put multiple takes on the same motif, and attach multiple emotions to it. This OsT was masterfully crafted
