As a lot of you guys mentioned we did somehow miss the final ending (season 2), apologies for that! We just followed a playlist but turns out it wasn’t up to date, hopefully you can still enjoy the rest of the video🙏🏼

If you guys plan on watching more, you should also react to the full version of the 2nd opening "Kaibutsu/Monster". The 2nd ending also have a full version by the same artist, but it contains heavy spoilers. Just in case you would watch the show, you might want to wait to watch that one~ (the TV version is pretty spoiler free though)

this "weird animation" you call it has an actual name for it, "Stop-motion animation" basically they took a picture, move the character a little bit, and take a picture again, it takes a long time to do that, so please next time dont call it "weird"

You missed the ending of season 2. The official clip for ending of season 2 song has visuals that are basically a continuation of ending visuals.

The first opening is stop-motion, a lovely animation technique that takes a lot of time and dedication. They collaborated with Dwarf Studios to make the first opneing. But Laika makes the best stop-motion movies in my opinion, they made Coraline, Paranorman, Kubo and the Two Strings, etc.

Beastars is an interesting shonen story (I usually forget it's a shonen but it is) bout I guess change, acceptance and fighting society? (In their world atleast) it's a world where every animal coexists and lives with each other day by day, but sometimes this could be a bad thing :P. My best way to simply describe it is that it's a MA rated version of Zootopia where drugs, murder, racism and more can be involved in the animal society and story.

There's this series called "Houseki no Kuni" (Land of the Lustrous), it was made by the same studio as Beastars. The animation, though in CG, is very dynamic and feels surprisingly natural. If you're interested, do check out the trailer or op~

I won't be the first or last person to point this out, but I'm afraid you missed the ending of Season 2. If you do want to see it, you may either watch it as broadcasted, or you can watch the 'YOASOBI - Comet' official music video - which is the full version of the Season 2 ending sequence (as in it's exactly the same song and video, except the song and animation carries on for an additional two minutes after the anime's ending sequence finishes). You'll technically be experiencing spoilers, but to be frank, it's not like you'll have context for anything, or really remember any of the characters that appear in it if you do decide to watch Beastars.

It is a shounen and it's done in cgi. I haven't watched all of Beastars but having read the manga can say it's worth it. I truly love the characters and story and how they portray some irl issues.

Beastars as a manga was great, but from personal experience it was like expecting a 2 mile race, but everyone stops after 200 meters. Still great to experience but a bit jarring at the end.

I hope these guys do a reaction to it. It's such a unique experience and well worth it. Both the English dub and the original Japanese voices are amazing and impactful and the story is probably the best of anything I've watched. Though it's defiantly not a Shonen. The story has less fighting than dialogue... But when there is a fight... Holy S***.
