@@joutatheegg and as for you....it ruined marvel for you....you hate it....something that millions loved....you hate it . To quote Michael Jordan:GET SOME HELP
@@Jay-mt6nu how did it ruin marvel? people are saying shit like this but never explain how it ruined a whole fucking cinematic universe thats been going for 10 years
I dont know. I mean love me some Beastie Boys, but when I think of all time video Pharcyde - Drop directed by Spike Jonze is way up there. Which also features Mike D and Adrock; conveniently. But yeah video that required them to learn their song backwards and perform in the video reverse. Amazing. If you have seen it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wqVsfGQ_1SU.html

@@UltimateLegoFan324 If I didn't see it happen onscreen then it didn't happen. Clearly he went under disguise as Buddy Holly and got a job as a waiter at Jackrabbit Slim's.
Came here because of Elijah Wood's Wired interview. Back when this clip was on MTV I didn't know MANY of these actors. seeying this now is just *instert mind blown gif.
@@tommygoat5478 I'm with you both on this. It's that feeling of knowing there's no new stuff to come but hey, he left us with enough AWESOME stuff to keep us going - Peace x
SHABOBCHIK i agree! Yes, yes, y'all and you don't stop Keep it on and shockin' the place Well, I'm MCA, I got nothin' to prove Pay attention, my intention is to bust a move.. Iconic voice 🙏🏽
I can barely watch this, it was the perfect goodbye video to bring the career full circle back to FFYRTP, but knowing that Adam Yauch was too sick to appear other than a cameo is heartbreaking. Loved this band since day one when FFYRTP was released and remember seeing them live when I was 14 when they were apparently hellraisers and lied to my mum and Dad doing the old staying at my mates house and her at mine so we could sneak off to watch them. I cried my eyes out when MCA died, what a legend RIP. I get emotional every time I watch it.
When this song came out, I didn't realize it was the Beastie boys, which my dad showed me once before. I was hooked and it led me into a rabbit hole of listening to all their albums. They're truly awesome and timeless. I wish I could've been born earlier to experience bands like them, live in concert. I was born the year Sabotage came out lol.
Thank you BeastieBoys for putting this out there. Sadly I must have been lost for the last 9 years but having found this during the Covapandimonium we have going on right now this was a complete release. Much Love
Not paid endorsements champ..oh and I'm pretty sure u got the wrong hip hop group with "my Adidas" so shows how much you know👍😂 Oh wait..u edited that out after realizing you fucked up.
@Rob P sorry sorry.. I just sometimes get a little self righteous now and then in some regard.. I know this just a funny silly music video and I read too much into it .. thank goodness I’m not music critic or anything like that I probably suck at that job.. 😅
@@bacht4799 And BTW, those are NOT the BBs, but actors, AND MCA has left us 10 years ago... And you should listen to the "Sure Shot" lyrics and what he rhyme about women and their past behavior.
@@garryiglesias4074 I know I know.. please don’t take it seriously what I wrote.. sometimes you just write something down people misunderstand.. I know they actors and know that lyrics from that song..

I remember when I got my drivers license back in 1986. I rode around town jammin to the beastie boys. I still rock out to them today. It never gets old. Sad to hear about Adam aka mca. Thanks for your music, it will live on forever

Adam 'MCA' Yauch, passed away following a battle with cancer in 2012. So is it you or your nazi loser friends that spray painted memorial to him ? Also Beastie boys are from NY .
Most people don’t grasp it but this was the tail end of Adam “MCA” Yauch’s life...past a point where he was in enough health to do the video....I like to think that everyone who was involved in this did it out of respect for the beasties for not only being able to transcend generations and cultures that came after them but for what they did for comedians as well....I’m sure if you ask any guy in this video about how essential sabotage was to their childhood they’ll agree with me...I’ll always have a special place in my heart for this track
MCA wasn't in this cut of the video, but he (and the other Beastie Boys) were in the 30 minute extended cut. MCA also wrote, directed and produced the project, so he was still pretty vital at this point.
I’m currently in the process of slowly, painstakingly learning every syllable of this track with every specific timing and tonal inflection to rock it as perfectly as I can next time I hit the local karaoke bar. Wish me luck!
Yeah, get up Yeah Uh Yes, here we go again Give you more, nothing lesser Back on the mic, it's the anti-depressor Ad-Rock--no pressure--yes, we need this The best is yet to come and, yes, believe this Leggo my Eggo while I flex my ego Sip on Prosecco, dressed up tuxedo Sipping coffee, playing Keno in the casino Want a lucky number, ask Mike Dino I burn the competition like a flamethrower My rhymes, they age like wine as I get older I'm getting bolder, competition is wanin' I got the ball and I see the lane and We got a party on the left, a party on the right We gotta party for the motherfuckin' right to fight Make some noise if you're livin' You gotta make some noise if you're livin' Crazy, crazy, crazy Armed insurrection, popular election Get paid every year like tax collection Hear my perfection, rotary connection Taking MCs down by lethal rap injection I'm like an ornithologist when I get pissed You must have drank a Fizzy-Lifting Drink And you got lifted, and sifted, I'm just riffin' And when I catch MCs, it's time for wing-clippin' I fly like a hawk, or better yet an eagle A seagull, I sniff suckers out like a beagle My ego is off and running and gone Cause I'm about the best and if you fess, well, that's wrong We got a-- We got a party on the left, a party on the right We gotta party for the motherfuckin' right to fight Make some noise if you're livin' You gotta make some noise if you're livin' Crazy, crazy, crazy The break is crazy Crazy-crazy Pass me the scalpel, I'll make an incision I'll cut off the part of your brain that does the bitchin' Put it in formaldehyde and put it on the shelf And you can show it to your friends and say, "That's my old self" Can't do me nutin', can't tell me nada Don't bug me now because I'm doing the lambada (bada!) Here's my chance To make romance in my B-boy stance Parlay romancing into financing Opened up a restaurant with Ted Danson The roaches check in, but they never check out I set the record straight, no doubt [We got a-- We got a party on the left, a party on the right We gotta party for the motherfuckin' right to fight Make some noise if you're livin' You gotta make some noise if you're livin']
MCA never said goodbye, and he never will. He lives on through every CD and Vinyl we got. Everytime you crank anything by the Boys, that's MCA alive and well.
Dude... Just in case you're not making some kind of joke, that's Elijah Wood, the guy who portrays Frodo... And no, he is not one of the Beastie Boys, that's just a music video.
Off the top of my head they had representation from: The Office (Rainn Wilson, Rashida Jones); Parks & Rec (Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler); Arrested Development (Will Arnett - though he's also Amy Poehler's husband, and she was in one arc of AD); Cheers/Curb Your Enthusiasm (Ted Danson). So he definitely made the TV circuit, bouncing between three shows (Office, Parks and Rec, Arrested Development) that also shared a lot of actor.
+mattthefox1 Dude, this song came out in 2011, dumbass. The Beastie Boys are old school, but this song is their attempt at coming back, until of course, MCA died.
