Is there an instrumental version of the whole Paul's Boutique album? I read somewhere that they had planned to include it with a 20th anniversary reissue but either couldn't (presumably due to licensing issues) or just decided against the idea

S Smith Ive wondered the same thing. One of the best produced albums ever with a plethora of killer samples. I havent seen anything.

Yeah totally - I'm a big fan of the Beasties, especially Paul's Boutique and Check Your Head, but the Dust Brothers' work on Paul's Boutique deserves to be heard on its own without the Beasties on top. The D.B.'s impeccable taste in music and their technical mastery in splicing all the hundreds of samples together (pre-digital studio technology) was inspired...it must be down to copyright/licensing issues but presumably that side of things must have been sorted out for the 'regular' version of the album to be available?! Anyway, I'd buy the instrumental version in a second if it was available, as I'm sure you and many others would...
