Yo AoM Retold is great. I feel like the RTS community is growing because of all these great remasters and games like AoE2, 4 and AoM and content creators like Beasty
I don't know what, but this game is so weird to watch compared to AOE4. maybe the nonstop drums or ASMRs out of the blue. i don't get it. please no offence to the game its great.
Of course when you bring sc2 apm and sweaty hands, aom is more laid back game people think they can win through eco alone but what sc2 players do is run bys all day and if you dont do the same you simply lose in the long run.
@@Andytlp You realize BeastyQT doesn't have the highest APM among AOE4, right? The reason he stops playing SC2 and doesn't want to compete in Stormgate because he doesn't want to play high APM games anymore.
@@SleepyGaming-ie9fb I see. Arthritis gets to everyone eventually. The biggest QoL in aom is auto queue. Cause economies are absurd and resources come outta thin air pretty much when you have silk road caravans going. He dont want to play high apm but still pushes 300 per minute. A lot of that is effectively unit microing cause of auto q stuff. Also he says he has no clue what the units are doing so hes not making counters which would make it a breeze.
@@Andytlp His APM is still high for average AOE players, just that compared to other pro, he's worse. However, him still sitting at top 2 shows that APM is not the biggest winning attributes in AOE4 & AOM. Game sense, decision making skill, mindset or even playstyle play equally important role. Compared to SC2 or Stormgate where 1 micro mistake can cost you the game, AOE games in general are far more forgiving
Love watching your channel. Are you going to do build order guides for AOM also? Your AOE4 guides are my favorite to watch for AOE4. I would love to see some on AOM.
