Timeless solo from EVH! Use the speed control to slow it down if you want to learn this yourself! Eddie only uses one hand on one part, but I learned it with two hands. Sounds good either way!
The flow of this solo is not as easy as it looks. You nailed it. A lot of others have the technical skills, don't seem to get the whole passage to blend the way EVH did. Nice! 🎸
WOW! This is pretty much note for note perfect which is a lot more than I can say about all the imitators on RU-vid. Even I have yet to play this as perfectly but time and health are no longer on my side. The only thing that you miss is that Eddie knocked on the body of his Charvel Strat right before he started to play the solo. This is the most common mistake that everyone misses. But still a killer cover nonetheless! Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us to enjoy.
You are the second May that I ever know that can play guitar the first one is Brian May from Queen who happens to be one of my favorite guitarists off all time in the whole wide world.
as a fellow guitar player of your vintage, it is sobering to me to think that EVH came up with that solo within a few mins but every person who tries to reproduce it takes days, weeks or even months to achieve a fraction of the feeling of EVH. Nicely played in your own feel.

We only rate amazing videos where people show talent and see how they react to 2/10. So you sir, still being sarcastic twards our 2/10 was still polite, which means you are a real 10/10.
