The wizard looked overpowered even in comparison to the other range characters. I wonder if he really was, or if it was just because he was used against three melee characters. Melee certainly looks underpowered. It looked even worse with the devil transform; could three melee characters even kill a devil?

his hp was low, he probably dies fast when fighting other ranged units.

To be fair they weren't using block mechanics for most of the time, so that also didn't help the perception of the Wizard's power.

Blocking as a knight seemed to do nearly as much damage as not blocking so Melee characters really are at a disadvantage. The Archer does win out at very wide range battles vs the Pirate but the mage does feel more powerful than both

The wizard does equal amount of damage to the golem, runs faster, and only has bad health
