Yeah like BOOM ZOOM BOOM the family like WHY TAICHI BOOM ZOOM BOOM ZOOM come eat this is not finish well come and pause there’s No pause your making me lose BOOM ZOOM
@Ernie Gaming they proved it on the part where it’s like the things idk he just at that part he just missed the block by like a block and still hit it like how?
What’s even better is his swings would be automatic due to muscle memory since it’s stored in a different part of your brain than visual and auditory memory
Another one (I'll delete/edit it if you don't understand) When you have only 1 min left to finish your exam but you have the 7 marks questions remaining
@@oldchannel7374 That's me. I can't count how many times I went to swing at a far out cube, only to not hit it and have the saber appear in front of me when I swing back. Pretty frustrating. Bonus point when CustomMiss flashes "Tracking" on such a miss. I'm like "EXACTLY!"
happy 3rd birthday to this video. i remember watching it the day it came out. thanks for being a major part in igniting my passion for rhythm games, man
Back 3 years later to rewatch this cuz Taichi randomly went live this morning. Still think this is one of the craziest things a human being has done. Sad that most people out of the beat saber community can’t fully appreciate how unbelievably mental this is.
Yo I can perform better than Taichi if this is how it works, just gimme a few centipedes and spiders, maybe a dangerous snake idk. Imma take back the snake, I’d rather not upset snakes actually.
With coordination like this, you qualify as anything from the best DJ in the world through music maker, the best beatboxer, the fastest metronome, and the ultimate choir conductor.

light actually isn't, darkness is, since shadows can move faster than light can. (just fyi) light is the fastest moving force/energy/object whatever you want to call it.
@@Kyobinoyo yes, however shadows do move faster than light because when light is in the location, a shadow isn't the and is there at the same time, so if you want to treat it as it's there 100% of the time, then sure, it didn't move, however using common terminology, you'd say a shadow moves, without trying to be technical, or just casually talking, thus majority the shadows are moving, and since in the scenario they move and aren't there 100% of the time, they move faster than light. Now even if they are there 100% of the time, if you can explain what they do to become invisible or what happens other than, it becomes to bright to see it, I can see your point, but "too bright" etc. doesn't make sense because if it's bright, it's not a shadow etc. If you can understand what I'm asking for, like for ex: if you wanted to explain why light acts differently when observed, you'd say the wave changes shape/properties (and explain how and why) and then it becomes like this: (place example explanation here).
Imagine. Someone breaks into this persons house. They hear the intruder and leave their bedroom swiftly. They then approach the intruder with 2 baseball bats. One painted red, one painted blue. There are speakers placed throughout the house. Ghost begins to play at max volume as Taichi runs full speed into the intruder swinging their arms at them with malicious intent while holding the baseball bats.
then the intruder realizes that with how light all the swings are, how much weight the bats have, and how quickly they're being swung, he just waits 10 seconds for taichi to be completely out of breath and not have even bruised him
@@zacjohnson452 I was wondering how long it would take someone to say something along the lines of "Well actually, it's all in the wrists not the arms"
Damn. Very impressive. keep the hard work up and you might be a really good youtuber. Plus you will obviously get veiws of being good like this. Keep it up!
@@jvniprbrryin actually, you should put emphasis on the word "minimise". It's minimally FASTER actually minimally MOVING your arms in a given direction while doing wrist flicks. Proper movement technique also helps reduce the subtle acceleration when moving your wrists so fast as acceleration is bad. This is a very physics-based game so it's actually good understanding how physics work so you can move your arms in such a way that is likely to be efficient. Perhaps slow-motion high-fps footage of yourself playing a fast level would aid in understanding the physics better and would help optimise your movement. Keep in mind that I mean movements of no more than a few centimeters. can't imagine someone actually swinging their arms around like crazy and actually completing this level - too much force and energy would be needed obviously.
One week from now: Taichi: [Beat Saber] GHOS10 (Ghost Expert++++++++++) 10-LANE | 80.31% S Everyone: Ok, Taichi... You can stop now... you beat the game.
I watched this video about a year ago, when it came out and more importantly, before I had my VR, and before I even played rhythm games. I have now beat Ghost on expert on camera, and I decided to revisit this video to see if I could read fast maps like GHOS7. Yes, it looks a lot slower than I remember. Crazy, it's like playing rhythm games gives me way faster reaction time.
Fun fact: When building SteamVR, Valve put limits on the controller inputs based on what they thought was humanly possible. They had to increase those limits because of beat saber players.
God that’s enough to make a dead dude come back alive for a freakin 4 days, and it also means Taichi is using 3.5 times more energy than the average human uses in 2 days
Doctor: Holy crap! You managed to dislocate every joint, and pull every muscle in your arms! How the heck did you do this? Taichi: Just five minutes. Just one song.
i feel like a side character in an anime watching the main character have his epic battle and sittin over here thinking "i cant see a single thing he's doing but god damn thats cool"
@@totkfan ghost is the hardest song on the ost and most people can't beat it (including me) and normally the meme is oh you won but at what cost but since the song is so difficult he literally just can't. Edit: For the people saying it is for new players its 8.24 blocks a second I wouldn't say that's easy even for experienced players I know there is harder songs on beat saber but still it's not a newbie song
@Marge I would rather say most people that haven't just started playing can beat the Ost version. people just tend not to play it because Ost mapping is garbo. at least from my experience.
@@Fence07 depends on how sweaty you are imo, some people can't be bothered to create a large library of custom songs and improve. Although I don't have beat saber so I could be wrong
Well to be fair, 65 Calories (kilocalories) is the amount of energy it takes to heat a kilogram (1 litre) of water by 65 degrees C... So he's basically a human kettle lol.
@@KingOfForest22 well he didnt use all the calories to heat himself up... and im saying: he heated himself up but most of the calories got to kinetic energy not heat... im just sayin... xD
And some are still saying that video games are just not healthy. "You need to do sports" Taichi : Yeah, sports are cool. But have you ever tried Beat Saber before ?
Friend: *What is that, a new sport?* Taichi: Let me show you _Taichi changed the costume to P.E. costume, using VR game tool and proceeded to play to demonstrate it_
