Last weekend I attended my first Beat The Blue event, bringing car enthusiasts, law enforcement and the community together in a friendly competition. The charity event raises money and awareness for Police Legacy, as well as issues about vehicle/driver safety. This year had the most successful turnout of spectators reaching capacity at 35,000.
"99 members of the public will test their driving skill against officers from the NSW Police Force, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command. The participants will then drive off against each other to see who is the Champion of Beat the Blue for 2024.
Off the skid pan there will be lots to do, with an interactive kids zone and Kids Beat the Blue, an extensive Show and Shine with more than 150 vehicles on display. Extensive displays from numerous NSWPF Specialist units and local Police as well as trade stands from our sponsors." - beattheblue.org
This was overall a great night with likeminded people, here is a quick snapshot the night.
