People... she was annoyed that Sinner buzzed in on her specialist subject AND got it wrong!! Jenny buzzed in to stop wasting time as clearly none of them knew the answer, and she didn't do it on someone else's specialist subject. Jenny's not a hypocrite, her reaction was logical.
The three in the middle were so embarrassed, Mark ate humble pie and then there's Sean at the other end, very glad he kept his mouth shut who was almost laughing at his fellow Chasers.
3:56 4:06 Nah; that is honestly *out of pocket* from Mark, even for banter! 😒 It was strangely satisfying seeing him get humbled at the end. I bet he would’ve walked off punching the set if this was the daytime show lol.
Very out of pocket. Definitely got too into the character, I love the banter or the little hits but just plain out saying 'you're rubbish' in a genuine way almost is pretty unusual for Mark. Almost certain he was steaming at himself for that remark when Jane won!
What do you mean he got humbled? He didn't play. If he played they would have won. The three chasers started with 35 seconds and messed multiple times. She is NOT good. Got lucky
If I'd been in her place I'd have gone for all five of them. Simple reason - Mark was the one saying the rudest things about her so he'd have had the biggest slice of humble pie to eat if he'd been playing and they'd still lost. As it was, he was still clearly annoyed at the end but at least he could say it wasn't his fault! The preliminary questions didn't really give that much evidence to assess her on. She had one vocabulary question which wasn't that easy, but which you could make a reasonable guess at just on the grounds that the other two answers seem too absurd to be correct; then one about what I'm guessing is a fairly obscure band (on the basis that I'd never heard of them), although again she might have been able to guess on the basis that songs with "love" or "kiss" in the title don't sound like they're to do with aliens. The chasers were probably a bit too hasty in assuming that she was thick based solely on not getting that answer - she did get some fairly easy questions wrong in the head-to-head, but got a couple of tricky ones right. Their defeat was more due to their own blunders than an exceptionally good performance by her, though.
I guess it depends on how you would’ve done on her questions, though. Jane won by 1 second, which means she would’ve lost had she taken on all 5 and Mark would’ve gotten away with how he treated her. Her win *_massively_* humbled him because *a)* he had all the big talk, calling her an idiot, etc. only for her to get away with money, and *b)* like you said, the main reason the chasers lost was because they screwed up, not because she played amazingly.
Hot Chocolate were a disco band in the 1970s. Not obscure if you were a baby boomer, which both Jane and Bradley are. ‘However, It started with a kiss’ was probably their biggest hit and the only one most of us oldies probably knew
Jenny should be ashamed of herself for physically harming someone for making a mistake. I get the anger but to cause pain on someone for it? Not acceptable at all.
shocking performance. absolutely shocking. jenny slapping paul and then getting a question wrong herself is just humiliating: especially as you got humbled by the look on paul's face. and anne's face when she got one wrong was priceless.
Well done Jane! No offence, but her general knowledge could have been much better, so her tactics of taking on fewer chasers and having more time was a fantastic decision. Jenny and Paul's little tantrum in the middle certainly helped Jane, but she definitely deserved her win!
@@onlyweatherlol93I think he means Jane played it strategically well. She wasn't the greatest at trivia, so she went as high up the ladder and she probably could have. Essentially the chasers beat themselves here, Jenny & Paul threw each other off with their tantrums on each other, then Anne misspoke on that crucial last question.
Just like a great deal of educated people you see your self as a superior being what kind of contribution could you make as someone making a part of a war zone where you have to be part of a team !!! me thinks you’d run to hide under mummy’s apron strings this weekend s the point where you correct my grammar is it not⁉️⁉️⁉️
It's part of the persona. That said, even for that, it's a little much, and more than the usual sass. (but in all honesty, he's not too far off the mark and Jane doesn't take it poorly)
I just don't get how this is meant to be the bigger show than WWTBAM but the version with Clarkson gives out more money than this most episodes. I know for a lot of people Millionaire is worn out (for me, as an aspie, I enjoy the pacing and fireside chat feeling) but, why is this show offering so much less money? I've talked about it with people who say they don't care about the contestants or the money at stake, just the trivia and how the chasers do. I don't get it. I'm glad WWTBAM seems evergreen, but it feels like a unpopular popular show where it's always getting slagged off online. This isn't like Mastermind or University Challenge or Only Connect where you go on for the pure love of the challenge and prestige, this is still an ITV flashy game show aimed at the wide public, why does it seem so stingier than WWTBAM?
