Beat the heat with this DIY air conditioner fan 

I'm going to improve this design to be more ecological and self-sustainable. Instead of 2 sets of Li-ion batteries, I will install connector for input of electrical power. When it is really hot, what do we usually have in abundance? Yup, the sun-light and sun-heat. So, we can connect photovoltaic power converter (solar panel) to this portable air-cooler and have it powered by the same Sun that heats up the air which this device cools down to a more human-friendly temperature. ;) Actually, we can also keep the batteries, too, in case there is an overcast (clouds - no sunhine) and the air is still too hot for a while. ;) Thank you very much for sharing this with the "community" that we all are!

Is it important which grass is used in the grill? Do you have to change the grass from time to time?
