I never said he gassed. Metcalf is a beast but I don't like his wrestling style. He doesn't flow. I still give him a lot of credit for all his accomplishments :)
@cee4pres well if you want the sport grow you need new fans and the only way to do that is exposure and to do that is have exciting wrestlers or stories ex. Anthony Robles
@Dillon1493 true, but you dont want people in the sport that is only there to get exposure, you want people who is there truly for the sport. wrestling will always be a great sport even without people who are there for the show. True athletes will find there way to wrestling
@Dillon1493 im not syaing it is like a disney movie and stuff, im syaing its a tough sport yea it has cool moments but thats not what the whole sport is about
@cee4pres sorry the real world and media isn't like a disney channel movie where some guy stumbles upon some old beat up wrestling shoes in his attic then falls in love with the sport. there needs to be a clip on ESPN that someone sees and trys it at his high school then wins states. For example i bet a lot of people want to try wrestling because of that flying squirrel move thats on tv
@Dillon1493 the sport is not meant to be exciting, you wrestle to win not to recruit other people or to entertain them. either you like wrestling or you dont, this sport is only for the ones who WANT to do it.
@cee4pres ok well the media isn't like a Disney movie where a kid finds a pair of old, abused wrestling shoes and falls in love with the sport. No its about seeing a clip on ESPN of that flying squirrel move, then a kid thinks wow wrestling is cool not gay. Or get wrestling exciting so there could be money in the future for it so all these college wrestlers stop going into mms after they graduate and go to the world competition
