Xlnt video with some well made points. Your discussion of maiden races is spot on. It is, in fact, the LACK of available information that gives an astute and observant player the edge. It is these maiden races that have led me to my favorite bet: a pick 4 with 2 maiden races and two cheap large field claiming races. I concentrate on picking the winners of the maiden races and then simply press the all button on the the cheap claimers (which, lets face it, are often un-handicappable anyway). Thus, I have turned a pick 4 into a daily double and simply hope that a long shot wins one of the claimers.
Great 35 minutes Jon, very informative, makes ya think....you see jumps on Overlays all the time, so often you see 12-1 with 2 minutes to go, still 9-1 into the gate, and they're off and first call you see 9:2 on the same horse
Great video Jonathan, I just discovered your channel, it’s very informative. You stated that the syndicates are slamming the exacta’s and win bets. What about the trifecta’s and supers? Do the syndicate’s play these bets since they aren’t displayed in the probables? Also, do you think there is more money in the pools today with the ADW’s than there was 10+ years ago? Thanks
They dutch the field with direct connection to the tote, fine tuning all the odds up to the last split second. All that hardware and research just to break even. They get a 10% rebate for keeping the track in business and maybe their rebate income is not taxed.
