So many people don't make pattern tutorials, and many that do are not very good... your video though was really enjoyable. You're a really good teacher.
Thank you so much! As I said in the video usually I do not give a lot of ready ( written ) patterns. In long terms it is very helpful to get used to create instead of repeat beats. But sometimes , I agree, that it is good to do it just for the practice of the sounds.
getting into beatboxing once again after 2019 with this. Love it as a hobby, though about trying something new in my past time instead of wasting time on social media and shit. Big Ups SkilleR!
One of the best tutorial, the 1st pattern he did, I was like woah nah I can't do this much .. but when he break it down I practiced it like 20 times n now I can do it ,thankx ..
My tkK is starting to get a little better, so happy 🤩 Working at it everyday. I had one thing I’m concerned about though. You often say it’s all about the position of the tongue. For the c, is your tongue dead center and straight or does it move slightly off center? Your inward k’s tongue position looks slightly off center to me (that’s how I do it too) but maybe I’m not seeing it correctly. Really appreciate the close up shots, btw. I ask because my beatbox friends are all good and crazy fast at tkK but they all do it a bit differently. Some do inward k with the tongue barely moving (dead center, only moves up and down) and some people’s tongues move a little or a lot to the side of their mouth. But they still have crazy speed and sound quality. When I show them my tkK, they say it sounds good and I’m doing it correctly, just need to do it a ton more to build speed and quality. I’m probably overthinking tongue position but wondered what you thought. Sorry for the long message! Great content as usual 💯
Yeah, it definitely takes time to make it with good speed. The combo is coming from the 3 different parts of the tongue. Front tip for the T sound, back in the center for the K, and one of the sides ( or both sides ) for the Rimshot. Thats why i say the tongue is almost not moving. It is like a wave while going trough the different sounds. Just don’t push much for outward K snare and the position for the T and for the C ( rimshot ) is the same ( just different parts of the tongue ) 🙌
Hey bro are these combos suitable for a beginner who have: 100% strong kick drum, 50% clean rimshot, 20% clean outward k snare and 95% clean inward k snare(and with trash basics)? Or are they just for advanced beatboxers? Please reply soon. Thanks for your help!!
Brother... when I started nobody showed me how to practice and become better. Even today if you expect that you will watch a tutorial and you will immediately get skills, you are in a big mistake. This is just informative video that can help you with some little ideas. In the end of the day it is all about practice. Hours of practice. :) Greetings!
I can do a pretty lot of sounds but how do I find my own style Sir? It's been 2 and a half years since I'm BEATBOXING and I'm very much into musical techniques but i find it pretty hard to put it together to make something of my own.
