I feel like Joey has become better and better over time with doing the whole "interview" thing and talking to the camera. It's good to see bc he's actually really likable.
He seems like a super legit dude, I'd love to meet him someday. I'd bet money that outside of the Beater Bomb facade he's actually a blast to talk to and hang out with
Vannarsdall Scale he is. I met him at SGMP during lights out when they had the 10k final there and I was fan girling so hard but he didn’t mind, he sat there and talked to us for a bit and was all smiles. Wicked nice dude. Doesn’t let the fame get to him

Beater Bomb is hands down one of my favourites, and I always love Joey's interviews. Humble, but just enough smugness to make it entertaining, and the spec sheet never fails.
Beater Bomb has always been a fav. Totally underestimated by looks yet has always been fast and wins. I like the drivers personality. Reminds me of how everyone use to be. You couldnt see under anyone's hood. Just man up and run em' and find out what I got. Lol. Love it

This dude commanding the light (tree) is a**. He brings one car up first and then the second car, but as soon as the second car hits the break, he flashes the light. That's not fair at all.
Joey is my absolute favourite racer on 1320. Don't get me wrong, 90% of people who make it through the editing are amazing too - George and his family are just one example in a pool of awesome racers, but Joeys confidence and great attitude, not to mention skill, is next level 👍🏻

Probably my fav racer featured on this channel, a personality/sense of humor, killer racer. Had watched 1320 for a few years but never noticed him until that Chicago “Chase is a Race Bullshiet” where the other loser kept trying to go early, Beater read it and didn’t fall for it.
Looks like the tree man wasn’t ever giving the right lane any time to spool when they were second to stage. Soon as the broke the beam he threw the lights on.
You notice how a couple of good solid normal guys without all the yelling and chest thumping are ripping down the track. You just gotta love the heartland.
