Jabo then: "This is our farewell to Fallout 4, we're gonna be soooo unto Starfield after this..." ... This did not age very well, i guess. But then again i am not suprised at all.
Was coming to the comments to say the same lol. Content creators like Jabo can squeeze every ounce of entertainment out of games and he's already gone back to F4 and Skyrim since Starfield's launch. I'm sure he'll do much more in the future but this is really telling.
Jabo's total tile count (before murdering those two knights for lols): 5037 The length of this video: 50:37 Just like the tiles, everything is connected. Great job though, Jabo! What a fun run this was to watch. I can't wait to see what kind of crazy Starfield challenges you'll come up with.
Hey jabo, as a RU-vid viewer of these challenges, we never see your perk tree in these videos. If you could just show the perk tree for a couple seconds in future videos we would really appreciate it.
What's really fun is getting two pieces of Legendary armor that have '50% reduced fall damage' on them, and jumping off the ship after it reaches its new destination.
@@zanemob1429 Settled is the youtuber that inspired Jabo to do this run, basically he's playing Runescape with the same ruleset (which works a little better due to runescape being tile based from the start but it is what it is) Dunno if it's 100% his original idea or not but he definitely made it popular recently.
a magnificent ending to the series, this was so much fun. but honestly, past the first video, what kept my interest was honestly the stream banter and gags more than the actual gameplay and challenge concept. you and your chat is really funny!
You may have cut it out, but the brotherhood wants PAM as well, which is why she is non hostile when you kill the rest of them. It's optional as far as i know but yeah.
@@joshcox8615It’s kinda poopy, so I’ve heard I’ve never played it. I think the major problems are loading screens every time you breath blink or take a step and empty boring randomly generated maps.
@@WolfbroaI have somthing like 100 hours in the game and then it set in, wow outpost number 40 with people named outpost guy. I actually started searching for cool side quest to be disappointed to find out I’d done them all. Up until 4 years ago I was still finding stuff in Skyrim. So sad
I started playing Fallout 4 again after watching Jabo's videos. Its a shame there wont be more fallout content for a while following the release of Starfield 😢
"If dragons were attacking your land you would have thousands of troops. Not Belle Delphine and her fuckbois" That is probably the funniest thing that I think I've ever heard. Maybe that's where she got her... "mobius huge"
For a moment, I honestly thought that you were going to do the blackout at the end of the video... And then reawaken on the cart with Ulfric Stormcloak in Skyrim With Tiles. Maybe after Starfield... or not.... Thanks for the great content, Jabo!
Personal experience from a heavy weapon's playthrough: Difficult early game by lack of ammo. Moderate mid game when you get things like missile launches. Fun, easy late game when you get a laser minigun (You'll have tons of fusion cores, power armor has a special dlc armor that increases energy weapon damage) Stupid easy, god-mode, post game if you get Final Judgement off of Maxon (suggest railroad for easy pick. Institute if you want his armor too, but can get lost in the crowd).
"It's going to be all Starfield after this, don't expect Fallout 4 for awhile" there's only 2 Starfield videos and 4 Fallout 4 videos after this, rip Starfield.
I've done heavy weapons build, my favorite being a minigun + shredder modification run. Busted beyond belief, and its so cheap and doesn't need a high level (Level 13 minimum).
After your absolute fun with Starfield, have a playthrough with only one ammo type weapons in Fallout New Vegas, except the tutorial area and Dead Money DLC. One ammo type as in 20 gauge = only Caravan, Lever-Action, Single Shotgun weapons for example.
Jabo’s story about Maxson going into a rant over the Pacemaker pretty much sums up how we feel about Maxson and his BoS. Fallout 3’s BoS was pretty much the only one that was truly Good.
On note unrelated to gameplay, I absolutely love the occasional use of music from old NFS games (like "Minotaur" from NFS3 around 20:40) in the video. Nostalgia.
You mentioned 20 Minute Man made me think - one day, when we've done Starfield for a bit and you want to do something else... How about you do that challenge again, with some tweaks? The big one being that you're allowed to loot the items needed for crafting the teleporter whenever you want (or just console command them when you get to that point in the game), and you're not allowed to use the Furious Power Fist again. Might be interesting seeing what other weapons and armour you can find in 20 minutes without worrying about getting the items for the teleporter - whether you go for a gun and try to find as much ammo as possible, what explosives you can find, etc. Would also mean you can explore other areas other then the direct route to Diamond City. Heck, maybe add "can't use store bought unique items" to the list too so you're not just tempted to get Overseer's Guardian or Spray n Pray. But buying up as much ammo as you can from vendors with whatever limited caps you can get in 20 minutes is okay. Will be fun seeing if you can get a legendary and then potentially being 'forced' to use whatever you get even if its 'bad'. Would be a pretty wild challenge - and different every time!
Surprised when you were farming that you were killing the glowing ones? I would have thought the revival mechanic the glowing ones use on the other gouls would make it a load more efficient.
at 44:12 your editor has the opening bit to Sonic R's "can you feel the sunshine" play. I know this for a fact because it is both my ringtone and alarm sound. How dare your editor give me a minor heart attack like that
I did a Heavy Weapons/Explosives build on New Vegas once. Was quite a fun experience. Definitely cant take the playthrough seriously though, like hunting collectibles etc. Everything gets blown to hell and is impossible to find your loot. Sometimes I felt like stuff would just get blown around so much that it would just clip through the ground into oblivion. Good times none the less.
Funny how Jabo can’t figure out why the Railroad is mad at him, because he doesn’t remember popping a cap in that synth prisoners face after defeating the courser… lol You’re supposed to free that synth and he just domed the bitch and went about his merry old way completely forgetting that he gave that robo chick the hard reset.
16:17 tell me about it, had a mod in skyrim that allowed me to store notes, books etc. on the shelves in my player made house outside of Falkreath that I made in my Legendary difficulty no fast travel playthrough. I had a wife, a kid and the house fully decked out, storage full of unique gear and valuables. Then it happened, I tried removing something from the shelf and it completely fucked up, causing my house to become an instant crash of the game. Tried uninstalling the mod, loading older save etc. but nope, no matter what I did the moment I entered my house, CTD. I was now homeless and could only see my family when they decided to go outside, all my items were essentially gone.
Referencing 3:15 As an Xbox kid growing up I have been fortunate enough to have an Xbox 360, xbox one, NES, ps4, ps1, ps2, and DS. But I mostly agree with jabbo here, because for most of my childhood I only had the xbox 360. So while not true in some cases it is true in most.
