Well done fellas! I've noticed the grind in lurk mode so I knew how big the grind was and when the coop time dropped, kinda had a gut feeling you would be making a video like this. Really well put together when it comes to details cause coop runs can be confusing to watch sometimes :p but the explanation on how this run works is really well done! I kinda like speedrun analysis vids added in with a bit of clutch moments (like the hunters) but also going into depth adding some humor like the trigger explanation and NMPD mockups :p Big clap once again, and hopefully you'll give the reach acro runs a try in the future since the acro runs are being tested at this moment :D WP and one of my fav vids on this channel

The scarab emerging from the water is actually the stuff of nightmares 😳 never noticed that before during the game.

Funniest thing I learned from my speedrunning days was the fact that you could run faster than the enemy spawns even without sprinting or movement glitches

24:00 so to explain this (in the terms that I believe it’s working) this death barrier is a skinny object within the games engine that has no collision or visibility. It only has a state that checks every few frames if there’s a player within it. The idea here is if you gain enough speed you can just skip the frame in which your character is in that barrier so say there’s a line and the “o” is you on frame 1 and the line is frame 2 [o | ] now if you are going fast enough you basically can skip frame 2 and go into frame 3 in a way. The game checks play position more often than the barrier checks (per your framerate) your position. And thus you can clip through thin enough barriers such as this death barrier. Just as a heads up, you probably shouldn't use a red line to frame the thumbnail because RU-vid uses a red line at the bottom on the thumbnail to show that one has already watched a particular video. So that red line in this thumbnail initially made me dismiss this video because I thought RU-vid was telling me I had already seen it

When I play Coastal Highway, I will always get to the firefight part then Dare says that Virgil died after I kill the first 2 or 3 grunts. This happens before Dare and Virgil get into the firefight area, and no enemies spawn (other than the grunts mentioned before). Does anyone know a way to fix this? I play on MCC, if that helps.

odst is a short game in general. most of it is just walking around. there are a few good missions but it is probably my least favorite halo game besides 5 and infinite.
