UNIZA is fundamentally changing its visual identity. From September 1, 2021, she started using the new logo, which is ideologically connected to the sculptural work "The beating heart of the university" on University Square. Its author is the sculptor Bohuš Kubinský, who, together with the graphic artist and illustrator Martin Lack, prepared the design of the UNIZA logo.
The symbol, which is the supporting element of the logotype, has an organic character and combines several aspects.
One of them is the connection of individual faculties in the form of lines into a compact unit. The inorganic nature of the symbol responds to the essence of the institution as a living, dynamically developing organism that is constantly changing, pulsating with the life of students, teachers and university processes. The creative work of students and cooperation with teachers develops and pursues the pace of today's world, and thus is reflected in the never-ending movement and the pulse of every day.
