Why was that banned?* Yes, it's technically sprinting like when you sprint eat. However, crouching would completely trivialize the run and remove the fun from it! *Random seed when?* Never. Can't craft eyes of ender, and lit portals are impossible. Not to mention that you can't fail at any point in an unknown world. *How many attempts?* I practiced the end probably 200 times (I had never done speedrun strats so I had to learn those too) before real runs, which then took another ~100 attempts (all over the course of about 4 days) -This was done in 1.16.1 -Dying or failing meant a reset -I had dynamic FOV on, so you could tell if I stopped sprinting (which didn't happen in the run, duh).

Hold down W, A/D and the sprint key in an obsidian box. Put some weights on each key so they stay held down. Give myself Saturation/Set the game difficulty to Peaceful with the help of another player (since I can't open chat). Or just don't. Edit: Is this a reference to that bus movie?

Using the pick block key is actually an insane way to manage inventory. kudos to the people who routed this and damn it's impressive that you finished the run
if you sprint until your body is tired, would the ADHD symptoms stop? Does ADHD people just need some exercise before doing their activities? As a ADHD person myself I never thought of that. Maybe I'll come back to tell the results (most probably won't)

Half of this run was just absolutely scranning on berries which I think is very funny the poor player character was probably exhausted after all that running tho :')
i like to imagine that the green parts of berries are his hand (also green) so it feels like he's comedically biting his nails while waiting for the dragon to perch
At the very start I doubted just how hard this challenge actually would be, but the no touching the side of blocks part alone makes it insanely challenging, not to mention the other necessities. The level of skill and professionalism it must've taken to do this is crazy, I commend you. Also damn, the dragon is finally... Genuinely difficult, in a challenge run. That's a rare occurance. *16:56* Plus, can I mention how epic that last strike was? Desparately trying to make way through the dragon's breath to reach the bed... Absolutely epic.
i love runs like this, where it's both very technically impressive and clear that improvements can be made at the same time. Sort of a proof of concept? I'd love to see a TAS take this on.
Awesome run!! That dragon fight was actually ridiculously garbage, and that last bed gave me anxiety, but I'd honestly love to see this done as a TAS. I might try it out, I've been meaning to get into TASing for a while now. Fantastic job!
In my opinion, this is the only challenge where the ender dragon battle fills like the true final boss of the game: it's thrilling, epic and unpredictable. Loved the video and the edit.
