I beat Minecraft with a bee being added every second! This was my second real life Minecraft challenge, if you want to see more videos like this drop a like! This was super fun, but I definitely would not want to do this again. The bees were attracted into the room that I was in safely using honey and bee saving professionals. I brought my friends Dream and George along to watch me struggle out of fear of being stung!

As someone who worked around bees I must tell you, bees aren't as bad as they appear. Usually if you don't bother them, they won't bother you. And don't panic, bees can literally smell fear. Also the first sting hurts the most, and is most likely to cause swelling (regardless of whether you're allergic). Once you get used to them, they will hurt temporarily but you won't feel it at all after a minute. Bees are truly only dangerous if you're allergic.

That's why I don't fear bees. They are pretty much harmless. Also, bees only stings when they really feel threatened, cause they die after 1 sting right? That's why I absolutely hate and fear wasps and not bees

@@kyrae961 Indeed. Bee singers have a barb and tends to stuck almost like a harpoon. Once wedged in, it stays, and usually a few organs are left with it. The bee gets a kinda slow death. Wasp stingers don't have barbs, and they are typically more aggressive. Their stings hurt more.

It is true that bees can communicate with each other to tell other bees where something is. They do a dance that points, using the sun as a guide, where it is. Plus the length of the dance gives a good idea of how long it will take to get there. You'd be surprised on how far away, and specific a bee can get.

When the honey is 50-100 meters away from the hive they do a round dance. When it's over 100 meters from the hive, they do a waggle dance. Yes these are the actual terms. (Biology major here)

he's braver than I am. I literally screech and squeal whenever theres a bee or wasp around. I don't mind bees that much bc I know they're a crucial part of the ecosystem, but wasps can go back to hell where they came from. My fight or flight would kick in instantly and I wouldn't be able to stop myself from swatting at the bees, pissing them off

Good on him for facing a fear, he did very well. As much joking as the other two did, I feel like he could tell that the bees were calm and friendly, if not a little curious about him. Honestly, Props to Sapnap for doing this. He is basically doing Exposure or Shock Therapy. Not many phobia sufferers react so well to that much stimuli buzzing and flying around them, and sometimes even landing on your limbs

In case anyone was wondering, no it is not possible for the bees in the room to lay eggs in Sapnap's ear LMAO. Although all the bees there are female, they are sterile worker bees. Only the queen can lay eggs, but she's too valuable for the beekeepers to put in the room where she could be squashed.

Actually freaking out would be the worse thing to do in that situation. Bees can smell your fear (literally, you give off a pheromone they can detect). They are usually docile unless they're upset or feel threatened. Once my beesuit had a hole, and I've had bees crawl on my face and under my suit while extracting honey from a bee yard. Fun stuff lol

@@taqresu5865 oh my, I'm sorry that happened to you, hopefully you didn't get stung! One time I was outside with my siblings and a bee got caught in my little sister's hair and it stung her neck, luckily she isn't allergic but it scared me half to death.

@@Jay-sx8se thanks, but it was alright. I've been stung plenty of times. The first stings hurt the most and cause the most pain. But once you're used to them, it's more like a minor annoyance that you won't feel a minute later.
