This was one of the hardest challenges I have ever done on this channel. Beating minecraft without acacia was thought to be impossible but I did it. Give me suggestions for my next challenge in the comments.
i love how he used acacia regardless at random points of the video, like its not even specified what he needs to avoid acacia, its just the vague "without acacia" that makes it funnier
for people saying this run is false because of the sheep farm being made of acacia wood, it’s actually one of the new randomly generated structures in 1.20.4 with a 10^-78 % chance of spawning in every chunk
@dmitripascual5067 he didn't. The fact that you even think he did is honestly baffling. Im sorry that you are wrong, he would never say that. Why do you think he would? You're crazy, he didn't say that and never will.
@@dmitripascual5067 How dare you accuse him of faking his run. You're just jealous that you cannot beat Minecraft without using acacia wood by yourself. The run was 100% real, and there's no doubting it. When he pulled out the orange wool at 3:58 my heart actually stopped. I thought it was acacia for a second, it looks almost exactly the same. That would have been a run ender for sure.
I must admit, when I read the title I had doubts. "Without acacia? That's easily the best wood source in the game. All the best speedrunners use it. You'd be a fool not to use it." However, after watching this video, I now understand there are concepts far beyond what we perceive to be possible. I will never forget the lessons learned from this video.
Unfortunately he's used acacia planks. It's was shown at the end by an "famous actor" who dropped stack of acacia planks. Symbolizing that any orange planks that was shown in a video count... he's didn't even realize whole his work was in vain... you CAN'T beat Minceraft without ACACIA Minceflaft is ACACIA!!!
this was definitely one of the challenges I have seen in minecraft. I can't believe how hard it must be trying to play the game without shouting out "It's acaciaing time!" and acacianing all over the place.
I really appreciate the little things like lava patches spawning, the floating WorldEdit sphere, the wither spawning, the off-center spawned in end portal after placing the frame incorrectly, just beautiful
You really think dream can compete with this guy? Don’t make me laugh. Dream can’t even beat the game normally without cheating how would he even possibly beat it without the use of acacia wood , a vital resource?
@@tCOREet he literally goes into creative at times, aswell as finding full sets of iron armor and stacks of acacia wood in village chests. That is not possible through regular means. Also there are spliced parts, such as a creeper detonating getting cut out. I can list time frames if you want.
Every joke is so obvious yet so well done, the whole thing is funny and full of unexpected twists. This is a masterpiece of a tragedy with just the right climax until the fall at the very end. Honestly this was actually one of the best Minecraft videos I’ve seen in a long time, I couldn’t get a few seconds to breathe before a new joke had me laughing again. Please make more.
I think I caught a potential clue that this run might be faked.. if you listen closely at 2:45 you can hear, "After bringing the sheep to the pen that i built." if I'm not mistaken. Guys I think that we should report this to the acacia run moderators..
hmm well he lost the run at the end like an idiot so the run is invalid anyways... i dont think it possible to complete a run like this, even the moderators told me so
When this first appeared in my recommended I (somehow) thought it wasn't satire so I didn't click on it. Now I can barely breath, this is the hardest I've laughed all year
At 6:45, it's subtle, but you'll notice a jump cut and the iron sword is replaced by a netherite sword. This is clear evidence of cheating and therefore this run is invalid.
How could you NOT know that iron swords have a 0.0000000000000000001% chance of turning into netherite in the end? Think before you accuse others of cheating.
the only way this could be an even better work of satire is if you used that resource pack that makes your hearts look like hardcore. but it's already plenty hilarious without it
From a distance I saw your profile picture and said to myself, that looks cool. So I zoomed into it and saw it was Entrapta and now I think it’s amazing. Entrapta was an amazing She-Ra character
The run was looking good but you definitely cheated. At 4:44 you have a netherite sword which is only attainable with Acacia wood as its the main ingredient in netherite.
I love that almost every single structure in this video is made pf acacia wood like the village, mineshaft and even the sheep pen. The Orange sheep was a nice touch.
@@Synthis_Bioji I mostly dislike chains but if you tell someone not to do something they'll want to do it even more (In this case, they could've basically just copy pasted your message), so just don't tell people not do do chains or they're more likely to do one.
I love the fact theres the death screens that show up for a second, and his iron sword that switched to diamond and netherite during some moments and especially blatantly using creative at the start of the game, gotta love the editing too!
Being my first time on this channel, I can't even lie, I really expected this to be a serious video about one of the easiest runs I've ever heard of in my life, and I still clicked, fully invested and willing to watch a run like that. It genuinely took me until 1:16 when the village randomly turns into an acacia village for me to start to smell the satire, and from there I realized this video would be way different than what I had committed to. It was an incredibly pleasent surprise! I laughed pretty hard at all the painstaking continuity jokes, especially the "acacia biome" at 3:25, and just straight up building with acacia at 4:37 LOL.
I’m so glad RU-vid recommended me this hidden gem. I love your style of humor, the way shit just. Happens and you don’t acknowledge it. From the iron sword randomly becoming netherite when convenient, to everything in the over world slowly turning to acacia, to the Wither… bravo, man. Bravo.
What do you mean all this is real, there is no joke the fact that its possible to beat the game without acacia is so revolutionary this is a really good video.
This video has the same kind of energy as what I used to turn in as a school project, just the most deranged stuff happening slightly and poorly being cut out of view and not mentioned at all
I'm so glad this is a legit play through, I see so many people faking speedruns nowadays. It's somewhat refreshing to someone who actually takes playing a video game for a RU-vid video seriously.
Actually, if you look carefully at the ender dragon boss fight, you’ll see that he uses acacia wood to place down his beds. I understand that a run such as this is terribly challenging, and it must’ve been frustrating to get to the end of the game only to find the finale too difficult. However, the lack of integrity demonstrated at the end of the run is frankly disrespectful to everyone watching this video. I expected more for you, and I hope that you fix your behaviour in future challenges, for both your own sake and your viewers’ sake. Shame on you.
Acacia wood is definitely the worst wood in the game. I hate how the game forces you to use it too, but I'm glad to see someone was able to finish the game without using this diabolical block.
At first I thought there was no way you could do it, but now after seeing your creative and unique strategies, I now see that it really is impossible. That darn Yoshi always gets you in the end
that second acacia biome was very creative. Never seen a biome with such a block variance before. Also the acacia sheep you bread were beautiful. I will never be as successful of a storyteller as you.
Also you were on my list of recommendations, you struck the algorithm my friend, congrats. Also subbed cuz that shit was funny, the black yoshi trading part got me
Infinity IQ video design play: Throw in so many ridiculous background details that the audience has to continue going back for that you get 500% viewer retention
The fact you completely skipped over Ychor’s Acacia inv tech and opted to go straight for the mine cart panhandle IN THE END instead of the nether makes this run all the more impressive.
This video is a masterclass in comedy. It's something that can only be funny if you have experience in Minecraft. Subversion after subversion. Absolutely beautifully done. Congrats on the wr
nah, i think the part i love about this video is that you can understand it without playing mc. sure, you wouldn't get stuff like the sheep farm joke, but the invisible arrows, constant deaths, acacia biome transformation and stuff are all funny regardless of your experience with mc
I have reason to believe this is fake. If you look super closely at 1:52 there is a subtle splice. Even spliced this is insane, but sadly I doubt it is possible without cheating.
Ah yes I loved the Acacia update minecraft had! It included the Acacia mines where you could mine the rare Acacia ore, the Acacia villages and mineshafts, the Acacianether, and the Acacia end! The two brand new dimensions specifically for the Acacia edition.
Finally, a legitimate challenge speedrun in Minecraft. I was so tired of youtubers cheating in these kinds of challenges (such as Dream). I'm so relieved to have finally seen a video with a fun challenge, strictly set rules and absolutely no cheating the challenge. I'm sorry for the unlucky ending though, maybe you could try to combine this challenge with something like "Beating Minecraft without getting a full netherite beacon", that sounds like a real challenge for once.
I am truly amazed by the skill displayed in beating minecraft this way, i didn't expect to see so many tas strategies being used by a human to accomplish this goal
In a world of stagnating Minecraft content, this video shines as an unironic work of genius. It’s an affront to logic on every front that I CAN’T look away from. Also BASED music selection.
very funny and creative. The only things this was missing were: 1) defining your rules at the start of the video. 2) the start of the video explaining all of the things you wouldn't be able to craft without acacia and how that's going to "significantly" affect the run. 3) find a spirit-of-the-challenge breaking "loophole" in the arbitrary rules you made up at the beginning to use acacia without "using" acacia (pushing it with a piston or something).
I got this video recommended to me a dosen of times, every time I was like "of course it's what's this guy talking about" and after too many times appearing in my recomendations I just decided to watch... it was exactly the video I needed.
Damn, never thought I'd see the day when Minecraft could be beaten without acacia wood. I had no idea that half of the glitches you showed existed, and it must have taken a ton of time to streamline your techniques. Simply bravo.
