You know, all these challenges have had something in common: they only require you to beat minecraft. But this makes me wonder... is it possible to not beat minecraft?
The community agreed not do do it because it destabilizes the whole gameplay. The sentiment became so widespread that the phrase "no cap" is now popular among people who never played Minecraft and evolved to mean something else entirely.
I think you misunderstood the rules for this category. Shaders/texture packs are all allowed as they don't provide a competitive advantage. The primary thing is no backflips, which this run doesn't have. I will admit that it would be confusing to the average player, but among speedrunners it's common to change the texture of diamonds to grass because the current meta seed spawns near a diamond plains biome, and the runners thought it looked ugly. I've always theorized it was possible to get to the fabled ender dragon race without back flipping but was never able to do it myself. On top of that, no other youtubers have tried it either for some reason. You are doing the scientific community a massive favor.

Bro I haven't even watched it yet, but I can assure you just from looking at the title that this has to be fake. It is impossible to beat Minecraft without backflips. It's a core part of the game.

When I saw the title, I couldn’t believe it. This simply just should not be possible. I don’t believe Dream could best this, even with his luck. This is truly a moment in human history. A testament of man. A statement of god.
I think this is faked. If you look closely, you can see that he used ladders when he "wall jumped." This shows that he does not have the required skill to wall jump, and so he faked it and thought we wouldn't notice. Shame on him.

I like the detail that the bonus chest has the torches despite being in the tree. You can't place torches on leaves, so probably they were placed down by command

Doing a speedrun like this with the mod Parcool would genuinely be difficult if you don’t remap the keys, since pressing A and D too quickly together would trigger a flip
Finally a speedrunner that doesn’t fake anything and relies on pure skill. What an excellent run, the race against the ender dragon was absolutely outstanding.
