That's me! Not the exact seed but portal room within 50 or so blocks of spawn, found it by accident while digging my very first mineshaft right under my house! (But now I told someone...)

@@limerumpus3589 no, because the obby platform respawns when you go through the portal. It would then be possible (I think), if hard, to kill an enderman and pearl to the island or bedrock end portal. It’s probably possible, but not as simple as just mining all the blocks

@@sirkiz1181 if there was, you could build a tnt cannon to destroy the crystals. A massive pain in the ass but it would work.

If it was possible, Then make sure you build spiral staircase attached to 'high pillar'. surround edge side of pillar with 5 block high (side that didn't faced toward Obsidian tower.. (This for safety when EnderDragon charge toward you but you can't counter it). Since ender dragon push you vertically because the help of 5 block high before it destroyed by dragon, you can mlg water. If failed then return back to spawn pillar you made.. Place that safety block again After sniping those crystals. Kill the dragon with bow overtime, use sword aswell as stated onto the video.. After ender drag died.. Lure a enderman by facing their eyes. Kill it, hopefully it'll drop enderpearl.. Then throw it to the portal for finish Since usage of that enderpearl is intentionally for 'Finishing' the game, not cheating the rule by leaving spawn chunk

I remember the seed : robot, it was a legendary seed in 2013 at my school and we always played on it :) but it doesnt exist anymore, bc of updates and stuff (mostly the village and pillage update)

What are the approximate chances of finding a seed like this?

Would it be possible to run these simulations under a compute shader? so then you could calculate a ton of different combinations very fast like how cryptomining works

@Samuel Fashola the spawnpoint in te end is always the same, 100 0. with precision you could get every tower or near every tower, and then from then using beds at each charge can be used to kill the dragon. another way is to use entitys to make it so the dragon cant move as 1.7 is really glitchy and when a dragon does a certain thing it can get stuck in place. using entitys to make the dragon stay and place and bowing it may be an option.

@@FarizTrinidad linear algebra is hugely used on seed cracking. I'm the Matt that MisterEpic mentioned in the video, and one of our main tools, ChunkRandomReversal, is built around lattices. Pure bruteforce takes like an hour on a powerful GPU for all 11-eye seeds. With linear algebra? that's 5 minutes on a single core of an old i5.

For real, learning how to build a compass was a life changer for me as a kid.

Pretty sure most of us alpha/beta players consider Beta 1.7.3 to be the last of "OG" Minecraft. After that was Release 1.0 split up into part 1 and 2, 1.8 and prerelease 1.9. I think I remember strongholds being added in 1.8 but they weren't complete yet. They spawned with a pillar of glass or something going up to the sky limit because there was no way of finding them otherwise until prerelease 1.9 fleshed them out. 1.9 never technically existed as an update since the game jumped straight from 1.8 to Release 1.0 I loved Beta 1.8 back then but a lot of players were heated about it, especially the hunger bar. I had just started playing in Beta 1.7.1 so I didn't care as much but I do still miss some of the old systems. I think Release 1.5 was the Redstone update. Idk how I even remember. By the way you can still play Beta and Alpha versions if you didn't know. They can be found and downloaded through the Java launcher.

this is JAVA not bedrock and also even in bedrock there would need to be everything like iron lava or obsidian in one chunk

@@blued11 you need obsidian which is limited to blacksmithes and the chance of one spawning in the same chunk as your spawn is not that likely, if not there has to be a lava pool in that chunk. but yes it would be easier to find a seed like the one in the video in bedrock edition since the world generation is very different

I'm Matt MrEpic mentioned in the video - we've found a few 11 eyes at spawn (12 eyes won't light up in 1.7.10!) but none had villages in it. The project is going to our BOINC server soon, in a hope to find all seeds with 11-eye strongholds for 1.7 =)

In that version you could make farms where the villagers plant potatoes or carrots in a too-dark location, then pop the crop off with a block update from a pressure plate as they moved away. I wonder if an iron farm was feasible within the chunk.

​@@rubikmonat6589 Hmm maybe, I'm not really sure how small you could make them in that version, i was just thinking of layers of regular farms in addition to an afk fish farm if you're going to spend time afking, since you could clear the farms and replant when you come back and do trades or something, an iron farm would work well with that too though if you could fit it in.

I should mention there was no village in the chunk, but about 200 blocks out there was one with 2 blacksmiths and a chest with an enchanted gapple
