Using the Golden Lie in this fight brings a whole new meaning to it. Carlos Proof of Humanity is what he used to be Pinocchio’s Proof of Humanity is what he now is
Really cool fight. I just beat him on NG+2, using parry grinder, 2nd phase, and gun prosthetic to finish him off. Basic cheese, BUT I didn't use any throwables. lol. It didn't look like this. A faster weapon, like Golden Lie, AND skill beats cheese strategies. Great fight.
Nice I beat him last night with well parry grinder the puppet string and the big club for heavy hits (with lots of Ergo that club did half his hp in two hits)
I am fairly certain the game difficulty caps out at ng+2, I didn't notice any differences outside of that except being able to continue leveling up, and being able to fill up all 7 phases of the p organ with quartz if you took the time to collect it.
@@secretbunnyninja wdym by difficulty caps out? Dont health pool bosses become larger and larger with each and every NG+? That's the difficulty lol, since damage doesnt scale proportionally
Health pools / damage output tweaks definitely increase for NG+1 and NG+2, I didn't notice any differences in boss behaviors regardless of which iteration of NG you are on. The amulets and gear max out at +2, and the bosses HP and Damage output seem to cap there as well. I could be biased but that just might be me getting better at the bosses the more and more I fight them.@@lucamarino6073
Was hoping to get the third ending (free from the strings) on my third playthrough since I got Rise of P and Real Boy on my first two. Then I realized I had to have too much humanity to get this weapon AND do the third ending... so that sucks. At least I have this flashy staff to do it with
@@Gold-7724 I will say the Golden Lie is one of my fav weps in the game, and it was incredibly cool that when I went into ng+ for the first time with it, it was basically just a stick 😂 I genuinely still can’t figure out if it does less dmg or if it’s just placebo 🥲 just made it through ng+2 and didn’t fully lie the whole time (getting that neutral ending for the final trophy for Plat today 😁) but now it’s stuck in this weird middle phase where it’s not the full golden lie, but not just a short nose stick either and it’s very strange lol
@@red_catharsis btw you can still get the puppet strings ending(neutral trophy) if you let Sophia live so you can lie throughout the whole game that’s what I did on my first playthrough
@@Gold-7724 ahhhhh I had thought that may be the case, but was only finally just getting around to testing it! I’m at nameless puppet now for neutral ending and final trophy! Thanks brother :P
So I take it that the hilt-bound fable art is... well, hot garbage lmao? Tried it on a dummy after obtaining and upgrading this beautiful bo-staff, and was a little disappointed with the results, damage-wise-
@@BALTDGuitaryeah there are other voice lines the longer the fight goes on from other characters. Though if you kill the puppet fast enough they que in at awkward moments.
I need to know... Does NG+ gets more difficult with each cycle? Because Idk if I am willing to play the game in the next lv of stress after my first NG+ hahaha
Lmao Yeah it gets increasingly difficult. Especially near end game with Laxasia and the mobs in the tower they can two shot you even with the best defensive parts.
I just spent 4 hours last night fighting him on my second playthrough. I got my ass handed to me all night and bro just made it look easy asf. Skill issue on my end I guess😂😂😂
I find it to be more like sekiro in its combat, not much like dark souls. Try to time perfect blocks and only dodge on unblockable attacks. You got this!
If you're a souls veteran you can beat this game bro. Just keep trying. Remember to focus on parries instead of dodging and utilize throwable items. Fulminis and the Puppet String are super useful arms. You got this man.
