i did a shiny hunt for DTQ, soft resetting felt faster than just running rampant in grass (no patience for the radar hated that thing in gen 4). 7:15 is where the birb appears.

Very fun vid! But how did you have this incredible luck in the start? I only got 2 shiny's in 1500 hours of pokemon. One was a male feebas, and the other one was a Golbat that i got AFTER the league so it was way to low level. But that didn't matter anyway, cuz the game crashed while saving

Seeing the shinies against each other is odd, you have Azumaril which changes to a colour miles different then you have Farfetch’d who goes slightly redder to look like bacon.

Challenge idea: gen 1 "competitive" Starmie minimum battles speedrun. Set up a Starmie with ice beam/blizzard, thunderbolt/thunder, psychic, and surf. Easy run, so it could even be a quick video
