Never usually write comments like this but I can literally agree with you because I turned my sound off after it pissed me off like holy fuck shut the fuck up with the sound effects 💀
i get it if you do it once or twice but literally 95% of the time just makes me want to turn the sound off, not like it'd change much since the dude doesnt even talk
What i find most annoying in normal mode rn is that screech can just appear even when no sound cue for him happens. But when i do hear him like three times he doesnt even show up. I hope they fix that bug in the update.
The “psst” is one of the sound effects in the game, along with the knocking and such. You can tell if it’s screech if the “psst” is louder than usual and you’re in a dark room. Also, they only say “psst” after a while of them showing up. The “psst” only happens to let you know they’re there after a couple seconds of them floating. Hope this helps!
It’s not a bug it’s when screech goes behind u, when that happens after a bit he makes the psst sound. Proof? Here’s my proof. If u ever look around and see screech without the psst sound, the text before is my answer, u never die or get attacked from screech whenever that happens. Unless ur audio sucks it won’t ever happen
Firstly, the extra entities could 100% do damage as the client could send a death request to the server (hence why reset character even works) and consequently trigger a death. However, this version of the game probably isn't a local script as eyes only does a fraction of the normal damage per tick. If this were a local script, eyes would do the same damage as normal eyes would. Health is values are determined and evaluated purely by the server so resultingly, this likely isn't a script. This conclusion is based purely off of my knowledge of computer science and I don't know the specifications of how this was done in the first place.

Imagine there's a secret ending where instead of figure dropping down as you look up, it's the eyes entity. *Then it cuts to black with (The End) because you technically died from that.*

Doors 2 is basically adding the new set of doors or rooms -,- and a new part of the game like different more entities and new story part like Doors (1st) = 100 Doors 2 = new parts 200 rooms/doors Doors 3 = 300 rooms/doors new parts ofc Door 4 = new things 400 rooms/doors Door 5 = new things and 500 room/doors And so on so fourth basically a whole storyline It’s still in Development so it’s unkown And it’s basically entering a new storyline so what’s wrong with calling it doors 2? -,- it’s basically saying it’s a new part of the game-
It’s really easy to dodge Screech’s attack if it does “psst!”, Sometimes it doesn’t so you have to look around in dark rooms if you feel like its there.
it feels legit yet not at the same time, smiler looks like dupe and dimensional eye looks like seeks eyes but on a rift, and white looks like reskin of rush, but they all feel so legit
Screech 2.0: Screech but it does not have photophobia. Smiler: Ambush but annoying. Wh1t3: Rush but can it easly kill people who have their speaker turned off. Eye 2.0: Tickles people who can see it.
Im surprised a whole bunch of entities were created so fast and were still waiting on doors update. At this point the doors update better be amazing because already impossible mode is super fun to play and interesting
You should try and find the secret entity on this difficulty, you need to first find a painting of what looks like a dark blue version of one of the already existing entities and then go to the rooms. If done right, it will spawn. It is like a much easier ambush since it moves VERY slow
Smiler has same speed as A-60 and comes more times than ambush(I learned this from linxy in hard mode)also smiler only comes in a line so there are multupule no hiding spots for you to hide in so he wont get you
smiler entity has 8.5x times ambush's speed and it takes it 0.1 seconds between rebounds so theres is no waiting time for it and it can come back up to 20 times
Masochist mode idea: Spawn with a lighter on half All rooms are dark All rooms require a key Ambush replaces rush and always happens every two doors Two screeches harass the player Eyes will spawn in every single room (Except seek's chase) No items spawn in drawers Figure's lock is replaced by a maze puzzle (The ones on paper that you have to draw a line to get through) Figure is now faster (Same speed as if you were on the last book)
