Not on ascension mode because I'm a big baby also don't comment on the massive misplays against the elite this was my first time ever making it to act IV :)
After I watched, and wrote down all the cards you had, I finally had an idea on how to build a proper deck for act 4, and on my second try at the boss, I did it. Was a bit close, as the boss was about to do 20x12 damage to me, but down it went. My deck was nowhere near as perfect as yours, but it was still good enough to beat it. This was my deck: i.imgur.com/X7Hybun.png in case anyone happens upon this in the future, and is worried you need a perfect deck to beat the boss. You definitely don't, as long as you get some core key cards, you're probably fine.
Hey man, happy to hear it! I've taken a long hiatus from spire, but I'm glad to hear you beat the heart! Definitely don't need a perfect deck, but you do need to build a deck that can burst damage quickly while also passively gaining block. Happy spire climbing!
misplay at 3:35 you should have targeted the enemy on the left with FTL to lower it's damage by 50% you scrub could have lethaled him too smh such misplays
I think the double consume was kinda a waste, u should’ve kept orb slots for viability. Also the double dial cast was misplay because it used up buffer but maybe u didn’t care because it was pretty much over anyway. U said u could not remove wounds but u could’ve played slime to exhaust. Prob a way better player now anyway tho
It's been a while since I updated the game (PC is at a place thats offline atm), what is this? Something about a key? I need to go read the changelog...
Defiantnight yeah, you have to collect three pieces to a key to unlock the fourth act. They’ve added a lot of content in the past couple of months, I hadn’t played in a while and came back to all this!
Never really needed to play it! To be fair, I probably just wasn't thinking at the time, but this deck had enough card draw and frost where it didn't really make a huge difference to have on slime in my deck. That was a misplay though. Thanks for the comment!
You don't need to be at ascension 20! There are three pieces to a key that you have to collect throughout the run. One you get by fighting a special, more powerful elite that spawns once per each floor (the map shows it as an elite with a small animation around it to indicate it is special). Another you get by opening a chest, and taking the piece instead of a relic. The last you get by clicking on another key piece while at a campfire. Hope this helps!
